You knew it was only a matter of time, but it looks like some Jets fans are already saying Michael Vick is a great guy and impossible not to like:

Ok, I can see that you can put the whole dog murdering thing in the past, but he will always be a scumbag for fight and killing dogs.

This year's Jets-Pats games mean a little more than usual because of Vick's presence in that uniform. The contrast between their QB (and yes, I expect Vick to start) and ours will be made stark. Brady is a hero in the animal welfare field, for adopting and loving "urban terriers" and walking them in Boston in blatant disregard for the ignorant breed ban.

Jets always have a good defense with Rex. Now they've added some nice weapons on offense. If they stay healthy they'll make the playoffs this season.

The Jets organization has such an inferiority complex with the Pats and Giants it isn't even funny.

They actually tell their rookies that they now hate the Pats and Giants?!? Belichick is teaching one game at a time. Rex is teaching as long as the Jets win the Snoopy Bowl in the preseason and sweep the Pats in the regular season, it is a successful season even if they go 2-14.
