Well, the good news for Miami is that an RFA tender is NOT guaranteed, so they're not out any money.

The bad news is, to paraphrase Fitzy, they're still the f***ing LOLphins.

That does appear to be the way the Dolphins are addressing their QB issue. The AFCE should be Pats 11-5 +, Bills 8-8, and a race to the bottom with Dolphins and Jesters for 2-14.

Would Revis (right, photo by Corey Sipkin/New York Daily News) consider holding out again if he doesn't get a new deal before the start of the 2012 season?

Revis said that he'd let his agents deal with the contract particulars.

I just got back from a trip that took me through Newark International Airport. Some of the shops in the airport were selling Tebow No. 15 jersey shirts. Not Sanchez. Not Revis. ONLY Tebow. Interesting, considering the guy is just a backup gimmick player. Or is he? I also passed through Denver International Airport on the same trip and, by comparison, Manning No. 18 jerseys were EVERYWHERE. Doesn't it seem that only the team gear of starting quarterbacks would be represented in such places? The marketing folks at NFL Properties haven't helped the league rake in billions by being dummies (and likely are privy to inside information). Look for Timmy to be starting the season opener.

I love the part of how the jesters rigged his "band-aid" contract as 'motivation' for him to renegotiate.
He loses his salary if he holds out DURING TRAINING CAMP.
