Thoughts on Mike Tannenbaum's Future

That's a solid start. Unfortunately, Jason goes off the rails from there because he fails to see that the Jets today are in pretty much the same position, with the same front office problems, and he gives Tannenbaum a pass because of the fluke AFCCG appearances.

I hope the Jets ownership continues to be as naive about those appearances as all the Jets fans seem to be.

Woody Johnson would take an 0-16 season if it meant the Jets' coverage was a couple pages ahead of the Giants' in the sports section.

I was just reading at JI the Rats lamenting that they haven't drafted any significant players recently, and when i saw the name "Wilson", it occurred to me that the Pats and Rats have both drafted a DB named "Wilson" recently, but it looks like the much maligned, over drafted Tavon Wilson is already better than Kyle, the 1st rounder who would bring a "king's ransom in trade".

And the Jets fans make fun of the Patriots' drafts. I mean they would trade their entire 2010 draft for either Gronk or Hernandez. The Pats' first round of this year's draft is looking far better than the Jets' entire 2012 draft thus far.
