I think maybe you are missing the intent of this thread. The title should be a give-away but to expand, this is just a place to post jets suckdom in all forms including any far fetched, unreasonable or even entirely made up assessments. This is because jet suckdom is pervasive. It defies all reason and thwarts all attempts to remove it. It would exist even were the jets to succeed at something, which they can't (reference Jets Suckdom, paradox and oxymoron). Therefore, preseason play an integral part of and contributor to jet suckdom for the purposes of this thread.

Okay. It's been a while since I tried to crank up a Jets suck screed and they haven't done anything egregious so far to really stoke it up. But the thing I look forward to is the geezer patrol the Jets have at wideout going down like bowling pins as the regular season gets underway. I don't fully comprehend why the Jets would have so many old guys at the skill positions around Sanchez. Maybe it's a way of accelerating their suckitude.

I find it funny that people still put any stock in pre-season.
I have watched football for over 35 years, and trust me it doesn't mean jack!
Heck even the first few games of the regular season don't tell you much either.

The Jets offense was God awful at times the last 2 seasons, and they still got to the AFC Championship. I hate the Jets with a passion, but if the Pats fans here are going to look at a few pre-season games and say the Jets are going to suck either have the homer glasses on, or don't really know much about football.

Very well said, sir. I might add: I can think of few things sucking more than sitting in a downpour and watching the Green Beans play an exhibition game against the worst team in the NFL. Also, they not only played the worst team in the league, but the Bengals were led by a ROOKIE QUARTERBACK who has NEVER PLAYED IN THE RAIN. And yet, Green Beans fans are all aflutter over this wonderful bounce back from a sucky performance against Houston. They suck.

Given the huge number of possible and actual turnovers from the Bengals, it is hard to believe the score at the half was not more differential. They were only up by 10 before the remainder of the game became riddled with backups. And that was with 2 interceptions and a few fumbles that the Bengals managed to somehow recover.

And by the way, Folk shanked another FG. He is the poster boy for jets suckdom.

Pats look the greatest against teams like the Jags, but a dominating performance by the team, and an almost 200 yd performance by Sanchez, in a monsoon no less, is nothing to write home about.

Yeah, we didn't see this spin coming from a mile away.

You just refuse to give the Jets any kind of credit, anywhere.

For a game in the monsoon, there was plenty to take away from the game, starting with a pretty nice debut by Plaxico.

Bengals did nothing offensively except for 1 drive in the 2nd quarter, they were also without Pace and Scott at LB.

Average? C'mon, be objective for once...

40+ years without a Super Bowl
Arguably the best player in team history wore panty hose
The current coach has a foot fetish and may lend his wife out
A starting receiver shot himself
The team has been second fiddle in its own home
The fan base is the stupidest in the league and is, along with the Philly and Oakland fan bases, loaded with the most scumbags of any team's fan base


When one looks at all that, the objective conclusion one comes to is that the Jets suck.

What would be a better title for this thread? Some, a few, are getting saddle sore from being on a high horse disliking the would "suck".

Honestly, after much rumination, "suck" is the very best descriptor of this lamentable franchise. Whoever has objected to its usage needs to get their head on straight and realize truth when they see it.
