This has nothing to do with impatience re the present setup. We are discussing evaluation of the former head coach. Until the very end, the Krafts allowed Bill to do largely as he wished. The Krafts had nothing whatever to do with Bill's horrific drafting nor with his decision to hire two clueless pals to coach the team. The impatience here always surprises me.
Any rebuild is going to have losing seasons. In Bill's case, 2 in a row.
But to go into an NFL season with losses of assistants and a QB who is beyond horrific, that's not going to work for any coach.
Belichick would have hade success here again if it weren't for our megalomaniac owner.
Mayo is a different matter. I am indeed impatient (or recommending of a proactive approach) with respect the the current coaching group (and the GM). All I hear re them are excuses and asinine murmuring about how firing a first-year coach is "just not done." Nonsense. If a guy blows, you fire him. When I ask for any evidence that Mayo et al are up to the job, I have yet to hear a damned thing from anybody.
