In a battle of bottom dwellers, former Patriots QB Mac Jones led the Jaguars to a 10-6 victory over the Tennessee Titans.
He did so while also throwing 2 INTs and zero TDs.

Thanks to Mac's heroic efforts, the Patriots pick is now slated to be #3 overall in the NFL draft.
Let's hope he takes Jacksonville on a bit of a winning streak! That's one less competitor for our top 3 pick.

Here are the current bottom 10 teams in the NFL and where their pick stands right now.

We just need to suck for 4 more games to secure that top 3 pick. I don't think that will be hard to do.

PS If we do land the #3 pick in back to back years, much like the Celtics did, who would you take with the draft pick?

Mcmillan, Hunter, or best edge rusher available if neither of those two are there which is unlikely. Would also trade down 3-4 spots for an absolute haul.

None of the Tackles are top 10 talent. Can’t overdraft.

I'd prefer McMillan or Campbell.

Do you think we could get a haul? There's really not many QB's worth taking and that's generally how you get a haul from a QB needy team. The Raiders and Giants probably go QB. And frankly, those are guys that are sort of reaches that high anyways.

A trade down likely takes us off the board for the best lineman, WR, CB and rusher.

Take the best defensive player available in the top 5. Either Hunter, Graham, Carter, or Johnson.

Travis Hunter, perfect pairing with Gonsalves, and can give us 15 snaps at WR.

I dont want to watch them suck for four more games! I turn on the game in hopes they improve and win. If they lose, then yeah, draft picks are the consolation prize.

I agree. The Pats can be creative and play Hunter at WR like they do with M Jones ;-).

With how I’m feeling as of late, I can’t tell if you’re being serious when you use the words Pats and creative in the same sentence. I know it’s early in the rebuild but I was getting a stale feeling back in the final few McDaniels years but seems to be getting better. Or I just maybe need to keep hitting the pipe or upping to 6 tabs or microdots instead of the 1…

i thought vegas has more than 2 wins haha

Raiders and Giants are tanking wose than us: we have competition.

Crazy scenario dreaming :

Deion is coaching LV, Shedeur is on the board for the Patriots to select and the phone rings with an offer that makes no sense to the Raiders but benefits NE for years to come…
The Raiders are perfect for Deon. So is Vegas.

Great idea. Let’s set up our young future superstar QB to fail by not upgrading the worst Wr corps of the decade
Anyone who has watched this team will agree that WR and OL are major priorities on offense next year. Defense is also a problem so only hitting on only one draft choice will not be enough. From the perspective of getting maximum value It seems that most experts(?) feel that the defensive players are the most talented at the top of this draft. Since the Pats have Maye, picking the next Chris Jones or trading down for more picks seems like the best options for their high draft choice. Either way WR or OL will not be top 5 picks.
