Hock will unfortunately be out of range, even with a trade up and the rest of the TEs have flaws. Plus, every team will know that we are TE needy and there is no guarantee that they will be able to get one of the next three guys.

The things that I like about Brate are his toughness and red zone prowess. TD total past 3 years: 8, 8, 6 (on only 49 targets). He will likely come cheap.....some of the Tampa press thought that he’d be cut already, given their cap situation.

Teams have us over a barrel when we call for trades now.
They know we have the cap the draft picks but unfortunate for us they know we have immense needs for game changers On O.

I have one word for you all...Marty Bennett.

BB: We are onto the draft!

So in 2 weeks we go from visions of Gronk and Bennett together to Lacosse and Anderson?
Playing Devil's advocate, Lacosse is probably closest to Gronk of any TE on our roster. 6'6" 255, ran a 4.71 (ran a 4.64 at the Illini Pro Day). From what I read, Denver was hoping to resign him. Now Denver is a competition in the draft with us for TEs.

Anderson, is a small TE, 6'3" 230, but ran a 4.64 at his pro day, under 7.00 in 3 cone, and a 38 vertical. They said his numbers would've beaten all TEs at the combine (he wasn't invited). So pretty explosive athlete for a TE. Anderson also went to Cal, have to be pretty intelligent to go to Cal. Our new receiver, Maurice Harris, was a teammate of Anderson's at Cal.

I'm guessing the depth chart right now, and going forward is 1) LaCosse 2) Anderson 3) Izzo or draft choice(s) 4) Hollister, I don't see him being a factor. Not ideal depth chart, but if anyone can turn these guys into good players, it's Brady & Belichick.

FYI, Anderson actually has the most career catches, followed by LaCosse, then Hollister.

I believe Hollister was cut.
