His heart and soul never bled Patriots blood so he doesnt deserve to be in our HOF. Its really that simple.
After reading an old thread on the Parcells debate, I agree with this.
I didn't know anything about the pre-Brady era before reading Darkness to Dynasty and Tales from the Patriots Sidelines.
Failing to induct Julius Adams, also decades after he should have been and after his death, while maybe equally but not more deserving players like Tedy Bruschi are inducted in their first year of eligibility is a total disgrace [also Kraft's fault. He's the f*cking owner. He inducted Billy Sullivan. He could induct Christian Peter if he wanted].
Kraft bought Schaefer in 1988, the Patriots organization in 1994, and was a fan and season ticket holder for idk how long. I can understand if he has a bias for players who won his team a Super Bowl.
But I agree that the newer guys have plenty of time to get in later. If there are pre-Brady players and coaches who deserve to be in the Pats HOF, that's who I'd rather vote for.
I wonder who the 2021 nominees will be.
