Wow! The officials blatantly tried to give the horseshoes an undeserved first down.

I don't like to buy into conspiracy theories. But the Colts + playoffs = ratings and I think the NFL execs know this. Do they have to be so obvious about it though? Embarrassing.

Either way, the Colts were going to get a 1st down on a play that was blatantly short or they were going to get to consult and huddle up to prepare for the 4th down play, which they did.

Well, it's 2 plays either way. The difference is the consequence if they miss on 4th down, as opposed to no consequence if it's missed on 1st.
