He might be if we keep talking about him every day and bringing it to people's attention.I think Carr needs a year on a PS just to learn the nuances and stuff I don't think he will be as coveted as some think.
Well Reiss thinks Carr (and Lucien) won't make the rosters and will survive waivers and end up on practice squad. Not to dampen your enthusiasm.
Moving nearly 8,000-pound sign was Patriots' Super offseason story
5a. One popular question on social media has been which player might "benefit" from the Edelman injury and possibly earn a roster spot, with undrafted receiver Austin Carr and 2016 seventh-round pick Devin Lucien coming up most in discussion. My hunch is that both of those players are more likely to be practice-squad considerations and that if the Patriots do plan to add another receiver on top of Hogan, Brandin Cooks, Danny Amendola, Malcolm Mitchell(assuming good health) and Matthew Slater, it is more likely to come from outside the organization.
It's a scary thought...I don't think he past waivers if we let him go...guy showed great route running for a 6'1-6'2 guy

Because he is not considered athletic by NFL standards. More of a effort player. I think that catch he made in the preseason was very athletic, but apparently most scouts thought Carr lacked athleticism, and wasn't twitchy enough in his cuts to be able to gain separation in the NFL
