23 Patriots Isaiah Wynn OL Georgia
31 Patriots Dallas Goedert TE South Dakota State
56 Patriots Duke Dawson CB Florida

I could argue Carlton Davis CB Auburn but I'm fine with Duke.

The 5th round was clearly the bread and butter for my binkies so I wish we had stocked up here.

143 Patriots Tre Flowers S Oklahoma State
But we could have also had....
Genard Avery LB Memphis/Troy Fumagalli TE Wisconsin/
Tim Settle DT Virginia Tech/Jamarco Jones OT Ohio State

178 Patriots Ray-Ray McCloud WR Clemson
210 Patriots Logan Woodside QB Toledo
219 Patriots Hercules Mata’afa DE Washington state
243 Patriots Joe Ostman DE Central Michigan

    #23 - same

    #31 - ED Harold Landry *

    #56 - DB Justin Reid *

    Edit: #117 - 3TDT Maurice Hurst

    #143 - TE Tyler Conklin

Edit: #168 - WR Deon Cain

    #178 - QB Luke Falk

    #210 - DE Ade Aruna

    #219 - LB Christian Sam **

    #243 - RB Justin Jackson

    #250 - CB JC Jackson

Edit: added these 2 picks because not having them was the result of 2 terrible trades which should not have ever, Ever happened:

Trading 117 (+ 63) to Tampa for 56; completely unnecessary, and reeks of panic.

Trading 168 (+ CB Justin Coleman) to Seattle for Cassius Marsh; I would 've offered the Seahags Justin Coleman ONLY for Marsh. Throwing away a 5th-rounder for the useless turd offers proof once more of how little the Emperor Without Clothes truly understands the marketplace or the potential value of mid-round draft picks.

    * I could also have been convinced to take CB Josh Jackson at 31; if I had, then I would've chosen LB/Edge Defender Lorenzo Carter at 63. Either way, we still end up receiving much-needed help both in the front 7 and in the secondary.

** If, in the somewhat unlikely event that Christian Sam had been drafted between 179 - 218, I would've then chosen tackling machine/Big Nickel LB Skai Moore, or perhaps the bigger, just as athletic, but inexperienced Leon Jacobs.

Lorenzo Carter and Luke Faulk, instead of trading down or out of the draft.

Are we not doing trades? In that case...

    #23 Wynn
    #31 Harold Landy
    #56 Isaiah Oliver

I hate to not get Duke Dawson cause I think he would be a good fit for our needs but Landy and Oliver to me are just better players. I would have taken other players besides the trades they did too. Dawson for fit and Reid for talent but in this version they don't have those options.

After that it is so deep into the draft there aren't many great options left and I don't want to go past round 4 to do this :p

I like those athletic, prototypical centerfielders (Safety/MLB) and I was pissed off the year when Telvin Smith slept until Rd5 and we still passed on him. Same with Justin Reid this year. But I would give that Bill guy the benefit of the doubt, as he has a pretty decent track record of success in the business.

Yep, guys like Telvin Smith & Justin Reid are Exactly the type of player we desperately need for our back 7, yet the Emperor continues to ignore that obvious fact, at the cost of At Least one championship.

Landry will be an interesting player to keep an eye on. I'm curious to see how he helps Casey & that line.
