On the spirit of your request, there are threads that I hate. I wish there was some way Ian could add a feature that let us block a thread from being visible, like the block the poster feature which I don't use. I would like to block threads I hate though.

My sentiments. The thread can be pretty bad even though I've posted in it several times. But a less than good Patsfan thread is a small price to pay to get the duplicitous NY loving poser off the air here. I'm speaking as someone who USED TO listen to him on EEI and watch him on Comcast Sports net. No longer a listener or viewer.
