They have no idea of the torrent of trolls from all over the world that we have had the pleasure of listening to the past 7 weeks. I invite them to use their imaginations.

Until they have that understanding, perhaps these classy folks [who have been able to post immediately - - unlike Extremeskins where they make you wait two weeks while they "check you out"] should be a bit more grateful for the quick and free way they are allowed to post here.........and hold back on their "lessons of civility". On this board, we let it rip on opinions - - personal namecalling and threats are not allowed, politics is not allowed and disrespectful trolling is not allowed. Other than that, we invite and appreciate your involvement.

I don't agree. The strength of this board is that it is much easier to state your opinion (especially for a fan of another team) quickly and easily.

Ask any of these Redskins fans if they have had any of their respectful posts deleted. Nope.

They are always invited to say their peace here, as long as it is not spammed, vulgar, political or threratening.

I feel the same way............. I think it's ****y and arrogent in the EXTREME, to go to another teams fan discussion site, talk smack about how you are going to beat them that week, and then act all aghast and a'twitter if you don't get the reception YOU THINK YOU should.

Most of the Skins trolls in this thread (AND yeah, you are trolls), are pretty smart and seem to wanna talk ball. I'm cool with that. But, look around at some of the other thread, there have been a lot of "less reasonable" skins fans posting today. I can see why some have lost patience

For the record, I personally find the Skins trolls a much higher quality then most other teams troll. Not at the level of a Cleveland or a Cinci, but oodles over SD, Dallas, Colts, Jests and Bills trolls.

Open criticism by opposing fans is fine. You being able to refute it as strongly as possible is ALSO fine. I take exception EQUALLY with the folks who are lambasting the Pats fans for ridiculing the notion of the Redskins winning as much as the folks who are suggesting banning anyone who supports the Redskins.

This is a lively board of banter. Keep it clean, keep namecalling, vulgarity and politics out of it........and learn from the free exchange of info and ideas.

I know you're right about the few spoiling for the many. I have seen many, many good football fans from opposing teams on our site. I've also stated that is a compliment to the members and the moderators here.

But if someone thinks telling us "Patriots fans have crossed the line...blah, blah", we may tolerate it, but not without comment.

P.S. I agree with no name calling...BANTER IS FOR TENNIS P*****S...and free exchange of idea can only come from respectful commentary. Disrespectful commentary WILL bring a like response.

It wasn't a lie at all. There's no question that there are a lot of members of this forum who are filled with arrogance about this team and have gone beyond the pale. Took the kids to a Nats game in September - - it was great, and we got to see RFK for one of the last times.

What I really loved was the "Presidents Race" and the whole not-letting- Teddy Roosevelt-win thing. It gave the atmosphere a local flavor that was nice. The new stadium is going to be a gem and the Lerners know what they are doing in the real estate development biz (in and around the new park).

I refuse to set foot in Camden Yards unless the ticket has already been paid for - - Angelos won't get a cent from me (other than the taxes he's already confiscated).
