I’d wondered if they might put a claim in for him and that was why the opened a roster slot, but this is even better. Our waiver position may be close to last in line so not a big gamble to wait for him to clear the waiver wire.

waiver claims in january are ineligible for the post season roster... was wondering if it was a move to secure a futures contract... not quite sure what the mechanics behind that type of move actually are

We only need him to perform one trick and he’s pretty good at it.
I have zero concerns about how a guy playing on 3rd and long would do defending the run on 1st and 10
