Show and tell time... Is Kyle Williams this year's Slow Polk?

While one amazing TD does not an elite player make, this shows the potential of what can happen if we're able to design plays that utilize his strengths. Maye can absolutely throw the ball to him. If it comes together on a regular basis, I don't see how this can't be awesome/amazing/pick whatever superlative you want.

I don't care what you predicted. Even broken clocks are right twice a day. Statistics say that only 58% of 1st round picks become starters and 49% of second round picks become starters. OOOOOO so you guessed the percentages. Big frikin deal. Do you want a medal? A chest to pin it on?

The fact is, just like i stated, many pundits were high on Polk. If you disagree with that statement, you are a liar. I personally hated the Polk pic and was screaming for Ladd McKonkey. I don't need a metal or recognition for it. Who even cares? Seriously. Not a single person cares what you predicted about a player who is no longer on the team. It changes nothing. Do you need to clap for yourself to help your fragile psyche? Is that what your reply is about? "He everyone, I have nothing of value to offer currently, but I can tell about a dude who is no longer on our team." LOL. This is 2025 and we are 8-2.

What this thread is now about is laughing at the idiots who hated KW last week saying he is just like Polk, and now love KW as if he is the second coming of Jesus. KW is not Polk. He never has been.
I watched the guy play a lot. His two teammate WRs were much better prospects.

You do care what I predicted because you're replying.

A lot of scouts were down on him ahead of the draft.

What I am saying about his substandard skills wasn't even a mystery.

Polk was a horrendous choice.

I leave you with this:

If you can't see the obvious problem with Polk on this play, when he gains 77 yards, probably bumping up his reputation before the draft, then you're never going to get it.

It should be obvious what I'm talking about here.

Maybe you didn't get what I wrote the first time. No one cares what you claim about a player who is not on our team. It is a fact some national pundits liked him. Some scouts were down on him and some were not. The only one who cares is because somehow the thread is now about you.

He was badly scouted. Im glad you're not anywhere near our draft. As it is, we have someone who thinks like you there, and he's largely responsible or the busts last year.

He does what you do, looks at some mock drafts and goes with the herd. Absolutely not watching these guys play football. BTW a lot of posters cared when I posted that BECAUSE I watched him closely. He was a bust the day he was launched onto this earth from his mama. Like you.

You are just an idiot. I have posted over and over that I wanted Ladd and would have never drafted Polk. I said I was literally screaming when Ladd was available and we were on the clock. Then Eliot the idiot pulled his trash. I don't look at mock drafts at all, and you just create crap straw men to win arguments. I coach football, you ding dong. Shut up and know your role. You are the bust. And you are a liar if you claim many pundits where not high on Polk because they were. They were. Not me.

Don't cry. Just live with your ineptitude. "I coach football!" Those poor pop warner kids.

A little surprised they didn't try to get the ball in his hands more often on Sunday after the TD. No matter I suppose; they had the points needed to win. They might need more from him on Thursday though, just to keep the Jete defense honest with everybody else...

Rewatched the TD and it was actually more of an "in rhythm play than I remembered. I thought it was one where Maye had kind of held the ball and went through his progressions to where the "precision" part of the play was over and he was just running across. But that looked like a by-design longer developing route. That's good stuff. That's what will get him more playing time if he can consistently be where he's supposed to be in the flow of the offense.

I think the Bucs were playing a single high safety and Drake was waiting for the safety to commit and threw after the safety committed.

I know it doesn't work this way...but I'd take the loss against the Bucs if we were finally able to get Williams productive...like 6 for 80 yards...just keep feeding him regardless of score. As long as he keeps producing...I'd do it.
How about 1 for 80 yards and a TD lol

I suppose we should wait until Williams has more the 2 targets until we anoint Williams as a success. I would have accepted many more targets with Boutte out.

You know, every time I lament not getting Ladd McConkey, I stop because if we did, we would've won more games that year and would not have gotten Will Campbell and Trevyon Henderson in last year's draft.

I wasn't lamenting. I was responding to an idiot who cannot read.
