Sean Payton says Broncos "are not trading" Jerry Jeudy

You'd prefer Marcus Jones on the outside against Garrett Wilson, Diggs, Lazard?

If not then we don't need to bother adding CB help in the draft? We have all we need at CB right?
You seem to be arguing against a point that nobody is making. Nobody is saying we couldn't use an upgrade at CB. Just that Murphy Bunting ain't it. CB is right at or near the top of everyone's draft wish list here for the first two rounds.

Imo David would be the 5th WR, and he doesn’t play ST’s, so he wouldn’t dress most weeks. What I want is a WR who will start and draw attention to them, which would open up the rest of the receiving corps. I don’t want any depth guys, they won’t change this offense in any meaningful way. If they can trade for one great, if not then draft one, but if they go into this season without making a serious move they won’t be a serious team. It will simply be a rerun of last year, where the defense is playoff level, but the offense so anemic that the defense becomes completely worn down.
Oh without a doubt your absolutely right.. Davis I guess I'm Going off what I saw him do in Tennessee.. I know he's been often injured.. but when he did play even in an inept offense he was a difference maker.. I want that guy DCs will have to take away.. So our other skill guys will have favorable match ups on 3rd and 4th CBs and or safeties. I am not opposed to going and getting one in the draft BOB can identify.. however I feel like it is likely to be OT.

I'm not arguing at all.. I'm trying to get an understanding of why some believe to think we are all set at CB with the current personel.. well maybe I missed it but I'm still looking for a poster to make a rational point of why we couldn't go after Murphy-bunting and Sean Wade and myles Bryant are still here. So far @captain stone is the only one that had made it known that no we are not set at CB and we should be trying to attain big physical CBs. I've see oh he sucks! Or he's this he's that . They guy is a starting CB with championship pedigree.. young and cheap.. I'm just saying that he's someone that could have helped us.. do you feel confident we can land that guy in the draft?

Finally someone talking sense... Sean Payton. He's trying to revive the offense. Trading your best WR doesn't accomplish that.

I think they have that slot guy in Juju, double dip at big fast WR’s from the 4th on, increase your chances by buying more scratch tickets.
I say use #46 and #76 on WR's if you miss you have bad luck.

We hear GMs and coaches claim all the time that they are not trading a player only to trade them a few days later. Payton could be telling the truth or he may be just positioning for more compensation. We will never know the truth unless he is traded. If he isn't traded, we cannot tell if he was telling the truth or just didn't get the compensation they were looking for.

I still think Tee Higgins could possibly be traded for the right price.

Unless he doesn't think Russell Wilson is the answer and wants to build a team where he can make a splash when he can unload the Wilson contract. If he doesn't believe in Wilson and believes Wilson is done, he is better off trading Jeudy and getting more draft picks. By the time they can unload Wilson's contract, Jeudy would be done with his fifth year option and demading near top of the market money or leaving in free agency.

Again, I don't think anybody has said that. Look around the board and it's a near unanimous concensus that CB is a top need.

What people have said is that Murphy Bunting ain't the solution. Maybe you're right and he is, but his contract says the league's 32 GMs don't think highly of him at all.

Sean Payton is a Offensive guy and those guys just don't Trade valuable WR's if they don't have a comparable replacement. Whosoever brought up Jerry Jeudy in a Trade to the Patriots is blowing smoke out their rear end.

Unless he knows they are going to suck this year because Wilson is done and he wants to draft a QB next year or the year after. If they are a three or four win team, you trade your assets to get more draft picks to draft for the future. It doesn't matter if Payton is an offensive guy. Besides, he has Sutton who was an 1100 yard, 6 TD receiver in 2019 which is better than Jeudy ever did in a season as a pro.

Again, it all depends on whether Payton sees Wilson as being able to be salvaged and turned into a top QB again or not. If he does, he will not trade Jeudy. If he doesn't, he might.

Again I think you may be confusing me with thinking that I'm trying to proclaim he is the end all, be all. Not at all. Yeah I mean I think I may be in the minority on him.. but I've seen enough of the kid to feel he'd help us.. I guess I'm just basing it off the old patriots.. We'd jump at those guys, talented but hurt often, sign to a cheap prove it deal.. if it works great if not thanks for your service.. so it's me more thinking that he could work out here more than anything. Not so much arguing against anyone's point.

I think he does.

BTW, if Jeudy is off the board, I would be calling the Rams about Cooper Kupp. If Stafford is toast, the Rams are going to be one of the worst teams in the league. They only have about $11 million in cap space and only 44 players under contract. Trading Kupp, who will be 30 at the start of the season, would free up almost $4 million in a trade before June 1 and $20 million after June 1. His cap hits next year and the year after are over $26 million. The Rams may be in total rebuild mode. Not sure if they would part ways with Kupp, but it is worth an ask.

Pats and Broncos are in the same boat.

Both teams need to bolster its WR corps.
