I was thoroughly behind Mayo before this. Now, if he gets fired at the end of this year, I won't shed a tear.
He HAD the courage of his convictions... that is, that this team was not in a position to start a rookie QB. That he would do what was best for the team, and not what was best for some parts of the media and the fanbase.
Now he has been exposed as being weak.
I hope, for the team's sake, that this experience doesn't lead to him developing the bad habits that have doomed other young QBs being put in bad situations.
