Washington like us is a rebuilding team. So wasn't Houston last season. I really believe that the organization had enough of of sample size on the QB position to evaluate where maye was as opposed to where Brissett was. Teams make changes all the time at QB. The Panthers made a switch and it ignited thier offense. I'm not expecting us to suddenly go on a winning streak. But expecting to be far more competitive on offense.
We cannot compare New England to Washington. Daniels was in college for five years and I think he started most of that time.
Also, Stroud also was a more NFL ready QB when he went to Houston and Houston had been building a lot of young talent between years of high draft positions and a boat load of picks from Cleveland in the Watson trade.
The Panthers' offensive resurgence lasted one game. Andy Dalton was ok vs the Bengals and awful this past weekend.
But I don't care about wins and losses this year or temporary bump in offensive production. That is irrelevant. The aren't going anywhere unless Maye surprises and has a near Jayden Daniels type of year.
