This place has r etard censored now? Are you freakin' kidding me with this crap?
I wonder if we have and Lawyer Milloy holdouts?Im still not ova Welka.
Why would brady want to leave a 12-4 team that has clear areas to address that will make it a Sb favorite again and a consistent history of addressing their needs and staying in top to go lose in LA?It is hard to believe that it is potentially so close. He is an icon of sports worldwide and we had him on our team for 20 years. We have been so fortunate.
Bayless thinks he could go to the San Diego Chargers, Ot makes a lot of sense:
1. they have a brand new stadium and need a start to draw fans and sell merchandise
2. Their current franchise QB, Rivers sounds like he is a goner
3. Brady is from California, closer to family
4. Lots of offensive talent on that team
5. Opportunity to show the world that it was him and not BB responsible for 6 SB rings
You mean like when he led them to the go ahead touchdown in the 4th quarter? He is gone. Checked out mentally too based on his performance against Miami....
Brady has never stated that the roster complexion factored in his future. Why would brady want to leave a 12-4 team that has clear areas to address that will make it a Sb favorite again and a consistent history of addressing their needs and staying in top to go lose in LA?
He has never stated it hasn’t. He has stated consistently that he is playing to win.Brady has never stated that the roster complexion factored in his future.
One other factor or possible non-factor is state income tax. California is 13.3% (12.3% and 1% millionaires tax) versus Mass 5.10%. That is an 8.13% difference to consider....or not.

that Oline in LA is awful, Brady would get obliterated

I would just point out that Gronk isnt coming back and Gordon is a free agent. They do have almost $60 million in caproom though.Harry and Dorsett are awful. Both are in the low 50% for catch rates. Meyers is 63% and somehow Sanu is 66% but that includes the Falcons games too.
Harry is the new Dorsett. Patriots always like to have a project at WR.
I dont blame Brady for not coming back to this 5hitty NE WR corp.
Chargers numbers this season with Rivers.
26 yo M Gordon 908 combined yards 9 TDs after he held out of camp
25 yo A Ekler 1650 combined yards 11 TDs
28 yo K Allen 1199 receiving yards 6 TDs
26 yo M Williams 1001 receiving yards 2 TDs
26 yo H Henry 652 receiving yards 5 TDs
The Chargers offensive skill position players are young and ready to roll with a good QB at the helm. Plus, they draft high again and have shown the ability to pick actual playmakers on offense. Brady would be crazy to pass this opportunity up if he wants to break passing records that will stand the test of time. And, potentially win the Chargers their very first Lombardi trophy.
Aslo, Gronk said that he would play again in 2020. I would not be shocked at all that if Brady pulls the trigger on this Chargers deal to see Gronk go there with him.
