Hey man guess what when you say per usual its like we've had this convo before. We haven't, its sad that you think you have because so many people on this board cant stand you.

I find you truly annoying and ignorant and your opinions meaningless and empty. If you'd also care to enlighten please show me where rumors may go. Is there a special section? Am i not able to post a rumor in the most literal sense? And by all means who would you like me to link to on twitter? All you have to do is search Patriots and forte and twitter does the rest.

I don't think too many of us have a major problem with the fact that you posted a rumor--that's pretty common. I think DaBruinz was just saying that the title was pretty misleading, since most assume "burning up" to be just that, with some actual credible sources thrown in.

Are there any other sources to your knowledge that are speaking of it? I honestly don't know the sources you are speaking of, but it doesn't seem that there are many right now. Can you give us some of the other places where you heard it?

If not, don't worry about it. You may have just gotten excited and reacted too quickly, that's all.

The rumor in the thread title isn't about Forte to New England, the rumor was the Twitter was burning up with Forte to NE talk.

On a serious note, we should all go back to drooling over Forte instead of arguing about the thread title.

No need to be worked up. Like i said i referred burning up to the amount of people talking about patriots bears forte all within the same time frame. Does burning up not work? I will gladly change the title.

Also the possibility of the rumor picking up any kind of steam for a monday morning is also something to keep a tab on as the theory of trading a 2nd and 4th theoretically for a player of Forte's caliber would truly be breaking news.

It doesn't suck because I don't like it. It sucks because of 2 things:

1.) The title, when read properly, actually means that there's a rumor that twitter is burning up with Matt Forte to Patriots talk, and not that there's a rumor about Forte to the Patriots which is burning up Twitter.

2.) One person asking one extremely suspect source isn't really "burning up" the Twitterverse. This is a board filled with avid Patriots fans, yet we're not seeing all this burning being posted. Now, this second part could be shown to be much more than I'm posting, but you've not offered evidence of that.

In other words, it sucks on at least one level, and it may suck on multiple levels, and none of that potential sucking/sucking has anything to do with whether or not I personally like the title.

Now get over the fact that your title sucks. It's no big deal.

I would love for it to pick up steam. The last overnight deal I can think of was Moss to the Vikings in 2010, everything else generally happens during the day.

Sometimes, it helps to take a step back and realize that you could be wrong, or even that you may just not worded your thoughts too well. It happens to me all the time (both).

The main thing to remember is that we're obviously all hardcore fans, seeing as how we're posting about a football team in the month of March, at 2 o'clock in the morning.
