My 2cents (decending order):

- Luke Faulk (2nd or 3rd round)
- Kyle Lauletta (2nd or 3rd round)
- Mason Rudolph (2nd round)

All three does not have a howitzer-arm. That said, they are ranked based on accuracy, %-completions, patience in the pocket (wait for something to develop), QB-IQ pertaining to "mismatches" and "2nd-3rd read options", and the ability to learn...


I definitely prefer NOT to waste 1st-round picks for a QB.

Yeah, it'd definitely be a waste to draft the most important position in football in the 1st round when you can get a mediocre talent in the 2nd.

If the Patriots miss out on the top-5 quarterbacks, they're better off giving Manziel a call on Thursday night and bringing him in. They could might still bring in someone like Lauletta or whatever as a dart throw but should double dip with Manziel, who was a far better prospect than anyone beyond the top-5 (and frankly I'd have taken him based on talent before most of the top-5 guys this year).

If the Pats really see Rosen as worth giving up much of this and next year's draft for, they'd have to move up to at least #2. It doesn't do any good to move up to #4 and hope he's there at that point. What would the Giants want for that pick?

No not really. The Browns pick #4 is worth 1,800 points.
Pats picks #23,# 31 and #43 are 1,830 ....but we do not have a 5th. The Browns own pick #150 in the fifth for 31 Points.
So Browns get #23,#31 and #43 and we get #4 and fifth round #150. Browns would say yes to that.

Now we could talk Rosen here, but if Chubb is not taken by the Giants (they want Barkely) , pass Rosen and take Chubb. We have the ammo to get him......yet I wonder if that was the thought with Cooks?

We don't have enough ammo to get all of our needs. She a top LB we can get in trade and we have the CAP.

#95 Lauletta QB
#150 TRADE- To Philly who seeks a 5th for OLB Mychal Kendricks who is better than any LB we get at #150 and we have the CAP for him. Has blazing speed and can cover. Eagles need CAP.
#198 Cichy MLB
#210 Jordan Thomas TE Miss St.(6'6" and 265lbs with speed)
#219 Justin Watson WR Penn.

I still think this will be how the draft will go unless we see some major trades. Giants and Browns could be possibilities or even the dolts who knows.

Browns- Josh Allen
Giants- Sam Darnold
Jets- Baker Mayfield
Browns- Saquon Barkley
Broncos- Quenton Nelson
Colts- Bradley Chubb

Rosen has been rising on my board lately. If the Pats get the chance I'm fine with a trade up. But I don't want them to give up too much. If he is there in the low teens I'm fine with using 23 and a 2nd though.

I would do the same for Mayfield too but sadly he looks like a top 3 lock. Still iffy on how I feel about Donald. I'll pass on Allen though at least in the first. And I'll certainly pass Jackson and Mason. I dislike both prospects. I would rather take a number of projected 3rd round guys than those 2. I dislike running qbs a lot and also I hate guys who rise in large part cause they fit the physical prototype without the actual skills that matters.

I still think he's the best QB in this draft even ahead of guys like Darnold and Allen. Darnold gets a lot of hype but rosen has had some hit games with a crappy team.

That's fine...everyone has their own opinion. I'm not a fan. And I certainly wouldn't mortgage 2 draft classes to get him.
