So me being bored during the hurricane I reread my first post: Ponder this

I came to the conclusion that I feel he didn’t sabotage the team, regardless of the drama with ownership and Brady. It looked like he could have at the time but now think he was thinking he could do great with anyone. So that said, probably more ego than anything. The FattMatt and Judge hires reeks of this. As for leaving the cupboard bare, that I do not understand. Was it more ego? Bad recruitment info? Who knows. Surrounding himself with yes men and nepos, is never a good thing and almost always goes to ****. Not just football teams, regular workplaces. Bad decisions get made by people who shouldn’t be making decisions. After reading all the great responses in my og post, I just think it was a perfect storm of ego, suckups, and nepotism.

I truly hope Mayo wasn’t hired for optics/likability and more for them believing in him. I’m definitely willing to give him a chance. Please don’t skewer me.
