As soon as I read Fitzgerald is the perfect replacement for Edelman, I knew I'd entered "idiot land."

i wouldn't mind having chandler jones! ( yea i said it :D )

Does this Defense need a 10m reputed free-lancer right now? (15m next year).

I loved seeing him on the field but the Madden in me would much rather see the DL given an adrenaline shot or a true Edelman type added (but not a fan of subtracting anything from the defense atm)

I liked Chandler but I don't miss him. Wise and Flowers are both more likely to come up big when we need them, so far. Especially Flowers.

I do feel myself missing Nink and Ryan, though. From a value perspective they were probably right to let Ryan go because that's a lot to pay a 3rd CB but I think he might have made the difference in at least one of our losses.

oh jesus. every ****ing year

Aww c'mon it's that time of the year again

No.

No. No. No. No. No. NO!

No.

No doubt this is what Danny's tweet was about ;)

Only if we get a good tackle, edge rusher, and LB to go with him.

We need help on D and the o-line, not at WR. I'd rather they try to get Joe Thomas from the Browns.

Im not against it and its a very Patriot like move if it happens.

Butler has been playing ok, but nothing spectacular. The NE secondary is still giving up big passing plays. How much worse can they be with Butler gone? We have seen players traded regardless of who they are when contract discussions are at an impasse.

Lots of reasons for the Fitz trade.
1. Mitchell gone for the year.
2 Dorsett is cashing a paycheck. I still hate that trade and believe that the Colts saw BB coming. Not against trading Brisset, but dont like giving him away for nothing.
3 Dwayne Allen ihas been a disappointment and useless..
4 The Pats had big plans for Burkhead and who knows if that will ever pan out.
5 Gronk doesnt seem like Gronk. He is ranked #1, but still seems like he is playiig in pain sometimes.
6 Brady is on pace to be sacked the most ever. The loss of Edelman still stings because he got open so quick. Fitz and Cooks outside would have to help when teams rush 3 and bracket the NE WRs making Brady hold the ball.
7 Cooks is catching at a 54% completion rate. Fitzgrerald at 63% which is low for him. Pats 2 seasons he has been in 75% range.

Has it been confirmed already that Mitchell's out for the year?
