Was it reported to the league by 4PM yesterday? If not, he isn't waived yet. As we have learned, tweets don't necessarily mean that a player has been formally waived.

The amount of ST pieces we trade for tells me that McClellin will start on IR and that we might really just go with two tight ends into the season with Hollister being depth from PS (if he passes waivers).

Some teams will focus on every patriot cut, no matter when they happen.

Others have all the players in the NFL on their system, with evaluations.

Cutting early or late shouldn't matter much, except for veterans, who agents can contact teams and have a better chance of landing a roster spot. For example, Freeny might land a ST spot elsewhere (or he may have an agreement with Bill to come back here on Sunday).

Well not all FO and coaches have the situational awareness of the Patriots, as we have seen on the field (in the SB for example) or off the field. We take it for granted that every FO handles the Pressure and chaos of cuts day PS singings or the UDFA as well as BB does. I don't take that view. BB will take ANY EDGE no matter how small or seemingly insignificant.
