RKK HOF Semi-Finalist [12/3 update: finalist]

Are you really trying to make this a “they do it so you have to agree” argument?

Let’s be real, I disagree that owners should be in the Hall of Fame. I have not diminished Krafts contributions, I have recognized them for what they are. He hire a man to run the organization and have him full autonomy.
My view of the qualifications for the Hall of Fame is not “made a good hire”.
It’s irrelevant. They do and you wouldn’t even have the team in the region without him. Or the coach. Or you could have got an owner that meddles much more

Nice to know Krafty Bob made it past the stage that included the Titans Miss Amy. Seriously, she was in the group that was whittled down to give us this list of 'semi'finalists.' She has been an unmitigated disaster, how the hell did that even happen???
I for one would like to get him in just so the seemingly endless campaigning would end.

Glad to see that this post did not go down the drain of "Asian Orchids" for a change and that Mr. Kraft may be getting his due..
Remember when he saved this franchise from moving to Hartford??
He enabled this franchise to be what it is today, then there is the ever increasing infrastructure to meet the needs of this team..

If Jerraaah jones is in kraft should be in also. I don't understand why J Jones is in the HOF in the first place.
Exactly this is all that matters. A standard was set and Kraft easily clears it. This isn’t even a case where someone lowered the bar and Kraft is borderline. He’s the most successful owner of the Super Bowl era

Always seemed like Hartford was nothing more than leverage/pie in the sky but I remember when he saved it from moving to St Louis by Otis. That would most definitely have happened if not for Krafty Bob refusing to be paid off for the lease and forcing Otis to take a serious profit to leave our team in place. Otis bought the team from Kiam for $110M and sold it to Krafty Bob for $172M, his after costs profit was estimated at the time to be @55M. So it cost him $7M to make $55 parking his cash here for 2 years. Not too shabby. OFC our Boy Bob has done right fine for himself since, considering the 8% share he just sold off went for @ $720M.

All for a team the Sullivans started with $25K in money mostly conned out of others.... amazing

We should also thank Michael Jackson for this

I don’t live in the region so where the team is located doesn’t matter to me and isn’t an indicator of hall of fame worthiness.

If you think owners should be included in the honoring of the greatest players and coaches in the history of the game that’s up to you but no matter how much you try to argue, you simply aren’t going to convince me.

Because owners being in the hall of fame is about rich guys forcing people to look at them

Yeah, great story about the Sullivans turning $25,000 into.......... (checking notes) a bankruptcy of - (that's NEGATIVE) $126 million. Have any good stock tips from George Santos?

Otis made ~50% for his two years, but Kraft built the franchise value up a 30+ factor, without burdening the fans with PSL's or the Commonwealth with hundreds of millions of dollars of public costs - - he is the UNICORN. Oh, and by the way, his franchise put on the greatest 20 year dynasty in NFL history.

Any questions?

“Built up ESPN” - lol does he also get credit for its demise?

Owners being in the HoF is lame. Maybe an owner that can squat 400 and deadlift 600 could be in.

They don’t give the Pulitzer Prize, Fieldms medals and Turing awards to the people that manage artists, mathematicians, and scientists.

So the guy that has openly admitted he didn't want Brady to play over Bledsoe and disagreed with what BB was doing in 2001 only to ride the coattails since. He also admitted "it better work" when BB named Brady the starter the rest of the season. Bob wouldn't even be in this discussion if Brady flamed out.

Or if BB sat Brady for Bledsoe like Kraft wanted.

I was a Bledsoe guy myself and thought Brady was just a feel good story. But the point is, Kraft was meddling and could've forced BB to bench Brady and start Bledsoe. BB was in a no win position because there was the feeling that their jobs were on the line which Pioli admitted in the documentary. Bob sure took a lot of credit for trying to sabotage BB's job.

LMFAO sarcasm and reading comprehension weren't exactly your strong suit on this one. Look again maybe when you're sober? I praised Krafty Bob and mocked the Sullivans. Only those thieving incompetent assholes could have found a way to start out with nothing, con seed money out of any and everyone, ride it to a $100M asset that they saddled with $126M in debt and end up out on their asses with nothing to show for it. smdh
