Honestly I really like this defense if Matt Patricia can finish his coaching NFL offenses for dummies during the bye week.
We may catch lightening.
Obvious here but if we had Tom and Josh this is a superbowl or bust team.

If he's injured for a long period of time, it will not only affect the division, but the whole AFC.
And KC would be like yesss.

With the way our O-line has been playing, I don't think it would make much of a difference who the QB is or who's calling the plays. We have to get back to being able to block up front and that's been our biggest issue. Now, if you add Scar in the mix, with a great QB and a competent play caller, now we might be cooking.

Healthy or not I think Miami has been better than Buffalo this year.
After their next two powder puff games Miami have Three Tough ones on the Road @ 49ers - Chargers and Bills I think they need to win at least one of those games.

Zappe has looked good in Bill’s offense…especially for a rookie. I think Mac will be better after the bye then he has been.

My question for everybody here.
If Mac doesn’t Improve after the bye let’s say it gets worse.
Does Bill make a change?
Especially with Buff losing its heart and soul on offense.
I know that’s still a talented group but Case Keenum.
We have a real shot at a playoff run Miami in my opinion is our biggest hurdle.

IMO the Pats would have to lose their next 2 games in order for BB to make that change at QB...this year.

The only time you go to Zappe is if Mac gets hurt or gets a lot worse. Right now, if the Pats continue to win and Mac's play is status quo you keep him. I don't think it's wise to pull the plug on a quarterback too early.

And if we don't win that game against Miami the playoffs won't matter we haven't beaten them in a while.

I don't think Allen's hurt elbow will cause him to miss any games. He still threw a bomb right after that - last play of the game. Sadly, I think he'll be fine, even if it is hurting or strained a bit.

Mac only "gets worse" via injury or continued OL woes. That's my educated guess but who the hell knows. Mac is not playing well, but if Zappe was inserted vs. defenses from the likes of New Jersey, Minnesota, Buffalo, etc. things would be no better and likely worse. The main reason Zappe looked good against Cleveland and Detroit was they had poor secondaries and the Pats could afford to max-protect him.

I need to go back and watch those games cause I don’t recall max protect packages.
I recall him having multiple targets on each play and going thru his reads.
Using his footwork to make up for less than stellar o line play.

It's easy to put it all on the quarterback, good or bad.

Was reading about this over on NFL subreddit, where they made things seems bleak. This type of injury normally happens to pitchers. Apparently if it’s torn, it could require Tommy John Surgery and would be season ending. I also read that Josh strained his UCL his rookie year and missed 4 weeks.

Would make things interesting in the division if he misses time.
Oh crap. Tommy John surgery is that one where the arm is actually stronger after surgery than before right? There oughtta be a law.
Now the Jete and their fans will believe they actually have a chance.

Shouldn't the first entry be "Jets"? Their last SB winning quarterback could be called back as a consultant for the playoffs, but he'd just try to sell their grandparents Medicare advantage plans to get them money BACK on their social security checks. That reminds me, what does Zack Wilson's GRANDMOTHER look like? Facts are facts...
Phallscinating. Bills may have to figure out how to get by without their QB1 just like the rest of the AFC East have had to this year.
Okay that's an interesting spelling. Not to be a ****, but you ought to also look into the history of the word "fascinate" too for fun!

Probably a Grade 1, if even that, considering his last pass of the game was a bomb. If they’re smart, they’ll rest him against the Vikings if there’s any amount of significant pain. Cousins has a bad habit of ****ting the bed against better defenses, which Buffalo has.

He was holding his elbow/forearm in pain, and from a strain not a bruise. I REALLY doubt he plays this week.

If its a grade one he probably could play, but im not sure if this is something that could maybe linger if not given some rest in which case it wouldn’t be smart to force him to play this soon
