REPORT: Josh Allen is Dealing With An Elbow Injury

Didn't he get hurt on the second to last play last game?
He hurt his elbow at the towards the end of the game before the last one, that doesn't really make any sense...?

You can only really point to his stats in the Vikings game and link them to the elbow. The other games are not injury-related.
Yeah I admit I was just spitballing.... I honestly hadn't followed his injury status or when it happened....

In the first 6 games of the season, Allen had 17 TD's against 4 INT's.
In the last 3 games of the season, Allen had 3 TD's against 6 INT's.

I am wondering if there is some cause and effect there with the injury.....
Cause: Being ballwashed as SB favourites ; Effect: Choke

This - I think it's just typical performance fluctuation. I'm sure the Bills will be okay when it matters.

They are a team who has folded at the end of games, some of them big, and the primary reason is that the coach is out of control.

This has spilled over to Allen, where he's barreling into linebackers to gain two more yards on an already first down run.

The coach had players bully Jacoby Brissett a few years back when his crime was only to jog down the Buffalo Bill's half of the field.

It starts with the coach because Allen should be taught to slide. But If it isn't the elbow, it will be something else because RB's after 30 are toast.

What's the Brissett context? I forget this.

Also, I do think the coaching has a greedy vibe to it. They need to play some Dark Souls/Bloodbourne/Elden Ring to really understand what one extra greedy swing can get you when that stupid ******* Ornstein/Orphan of Kos/Malenia is on 10hp and you just want to get the deathblow 45 seconds earlier than patience would (hint: it's the text 'YOU DIED' appearing on your screen)

ps - sorry for the video game reference, but it fits too well.

Wasn't it around our bye last season that someone started the infamous "is anyone still scared of the Bills" thread? They proceeded to go on a run & almost made it to the AFCCG. We proceeded to suck ass.

Yes . If anyone does that this year they should be banned

This is a good comparison (and my passion for Soulsborne games rivals my passion for Patriots football, so it's good to see the references here). However, there's still room for aggression within that mindset. You just have to know when the enemy is entering a long animation that won't interrupt itself to punish you for unloading a bunch of attacks.

How does that translate to football? I don't know, I just like to play video games.

An uptight team with an uptight coach.

How does it relate? Well, Mac simply needs more i-frames to roll through those sacks.

Bills roster not as good as people seem to think they are. They are clearly dependent on Allen.

I don't think we are in a position to not fear our opponent but Buffalo is pretty good at reminding everyone every few games or so that they are still Buffalo.
