Seems like some new additions might surprise. Really hoping Casas becomes a better hitter. I feel as thou he’s on the cusp..I've certainly gone in to seasons with lower expectations than this one but I can't recall many where I started with less enthusiasm. Ownership had come pretty close to turning me off so the start is a pleasant surprise, even if it proves a fleeting one. In addition to sitting on their wallets when it comes to players not extending Cora's contract is baffling

Story is out and will require surgery on his shoulder. Damn, this was such a great acquisition until it wasn't
Ya, hopefully it ain’t on us !!!Yep, some interesting young players a good pitching coach and one of the better managers in the game today. Can you feel the trap about to spring? I can
Probably too soon to say that.Is it wrong to believe the Sox 5'8" $18mill/yr LFer (who doesn't play LF and therefore DHs despite minimal power) Masataka Yoshida is a bust?
This season has been such a roller coaster. In spring training most thought they would be terrible and at the bottom of the division. Then they basically treaded water until about 6 weeks before the all star break when they started playing well and beating some good teams but I think a lot of wind left the sails when they didn't really add anyone notable at the trade deadline. Tanner Hauk came back to earth, the injuries, and a tougher schedule seemed to help the water find its level.looks like we wont be making the WC? Not sure we have enough in the tank to get in. This team certainly exceeded expectations

Chris Sale turning into a pumpkin when he got here only to become a stud again is just painful. They need starting pitching.
Ironic that the best starter in MLB this year is Chris Sale.
If he's still here, they're probably in the playoffs.
Can't really blame them for trading him given all the injurues BUT we all heard heading into spring training that he was finally healthy- you'd think after all they invested in him they would've done their homework better on his condition.
He's gonna, win the NL Cy Young..
