Whatever lubricant Goodell uses on Kraft, it has got to be great

We all give our hearts and souls to our team. But in the end the NFL is a big, corporate monster devouring everything in its wake in order to make money for its 32 BILLIONAIRE owners (well, 31, plus Green Bay, which is how every franchise should be managed -- by its local fanbase). We lose sight of the fact that fake scandals such as deflategate in the end drive up ratings and therefore revenue for Mr. Kraft and his billionaire buddies. We are played like pawns in this game, even though we are true to the end to and for our team. I too will be deciding whether or not to give up on the Patriots after this sad news conference. But remember that Roger Goodell is NFL Commissioner (despite record breaking incompetence) because he's there to make money for the owners. That is what this is all about. For us it's about our team, our players, our honor -- but for the Krafts in the end it's about the Almighty Dollar. And so it goes...

Finished with the New England Patriots the second Tom Brady leaves. My fandom for this team under Kraft ownership is finished. I'll still watch for TB12. That's it.

He allowed the team to be tarnished forever over something we were probably never guilty of in the first place! Words can't even describe how utterly disgusted I am.

Very disappointing.

Although there is the hope that over time, something may surface that gives some sort of meaning to this senseless folding act by Kraft.

I can't imagine what it would be other than the hope that it's at least something along the lines of having Brady's suspension completely vacated in exchange for not contesting the fines/loss of draft picks

I'm beyond disgusted right now. I haven't had the patience nor the desire to ever post on this issue and this result has always been why.

Once Brady and coach Belichick are gone, so am I. I am done with the NFL.

If the other 31 owners would have the ethos And honor of Kraft this would have been ok. But they don't !!!!!!! He really let down the Pats.

Bob Kraft worships money....he followed his true faith. I will never again spend 1$ at Patriot place ... I encourage all to boycott Patriot place establishments.

So there's now zero chance of getting the 1st rounder back?

Brady put his neck on the line for 15 years for Kraft, too bad Kraft couldn't do the same for Tom for more than 4 months.

It's not like Kraft has anything better to do in the off season either...
