While McCourty looks impressive, we were so excited with Butler at about this point a year ago.

Butler has *never* played as well as McCourty is playing. The hype about Butler was all about his being in good position, etc, i.e about potential. McCourty is *performing* at a level Butler has only hinted at.

I would suppose you couldnt find a play in any game with any player triple teamed.

IIRC, I saw the JEST triple team Mike Vrabel after he burned them for two touchdowns in the same game.

Obviously Butler is way down the depth chart at this point.

As a side note, both Butler and Price won the coveted black jerseys last week for Practice Player of the Week.

1) BB's got his mojo back.
It was a sexy 3 years, but the team he's leading now wins championships.

2)The QB difference was glaring in the post-game interviews. There's no "I" in LEADER, Brett

3)2 1st's, 2 2nd's, 2 3rd's... I'll be watching the Pats win with my grandkids. NE is not going quitely into that good night.

4) TB will tie home game win record streak vs. Indy & pass it vs. Jets. Statement games for the best coach/quarterback combo in NFL history.
