PSA: Stop Pluralizing BURROWS and other terrible things

I always thought that "could of" and "could have" can both be used.
How?

No offense, but surely you know the meaning of 'could' and the meaning of 'of'? How could it make sense to use them together?

I think the confusion comes from could have being abbreviated to could've

It's Marshall Faulk...not Marshal Fork

it's "ask my people", not "ax muh peepoo"

it's "know what I'm saying" not "noam sain"

it's "know what I mean?" not "nah meen?"

it's "can I ask you a question, sir"..not "kin I aks you a queshun, Yo?"

it's "shrimps for my beauty"..not "skrimps for muh boo"

it's "both" not "bofe"
Is Noam Sain related to Noam Chomsky?

as I call a deer with no eyes...NO IDEA...
I hate that one, which is rampant around here in Nashuer.

It's often heard at the grocery store called Shawers.

One I almost just typed in: "graft is ripe" vs "graft is rife".

One I dislike from the eubonics world is "ima xxx" for "I'm going to xxx".

Another: "I just ate McDonalds", really?

However, this thread is fighting a losing battle.

The language once claimed to be owned by the English people is now a world language, largely because it excels at adopting new words and new phrasings.

The world didn't really care when the English complained about how "their language" was getting mutilated, and it won't care about our complaints either.

Some of those are just accents, I don't think that fits in this thread man.

Also it's:

"a moot point", not "a mute point"

"Could have"/"Could've" not "Could of". Same for would and should.

It's "I couldn't care less" not "I could care less" which literally conveys the opposite meaning to the one intended

It's "for all intents and purposes" not for "all intensive purposes"
“All intensive purposes” lol my all time fave

No, that's Bing's obscure, illegitimate son.
When the media lost their minds like they always do, after Raymond Berry expressed concern, including mentioning that the Patriots were at or near the bottom of the league in players' recreational drug use, one colorful writer suggested that it wasn't fair to unknowing gamblers that David Crosby was lining up next to Craig James in the Pats' backfield for Super Bowl XX

Actually, the numerous times that Marshall Fork has dissed the Pats leads me to think that any d**n name anyone calls him is fine with me.

You ****ing morons.

Sean Payton
Peyton Manning

Joe Burrow (not Burrows)

Marcus Peters (not Peter)

Josh McDaniels (not McDaniel)

Bruce Arians (not Arian)

If I see any more of these…

Has PFiVA cosigned this yet?
