You don't... 30 million of the deal is incentive based... Don't know what is ltbe and what isn'tHow do you get paid 105 mill over 3 years at 25 mill per year?
And some here want to resign this douchebag?
Well with the news Rodgers may be coming to the AFC east... this changes everything. I like Mac and believe in him.. however the question I'd ask is do we trade for LJ?..Yeah that hasn’t been how the Pats have operated since I became a fan in the 90’s but anything is possible.
I don’t think it changes anything. The Pats have never been an organization that reacts to other teams splashy moves, they focus on their own team and how to improve it regardless of what the teams around them do.Well with the news Rodgers may be coming to the AFC east... this changes everything. We need strengthen our secondary we know Rodgers will get a roughing the passer call for breathing on him.Well with the news Rodgers may be coming to the AFC east... this changes everything. I like Mac and believe in him.. however the question I'd ask is do we trade for LJ?..
There is $30M in incentives. So it is actually a 3 year $75M deal (75/3 = 25). $40M guaranteed, so a low guarantee - he could be cut after 2 years. How do you get paid 105 mill over 3 years at 25 mill per year?
A lot also depends on what those incentives are and how attainable. You don't... 30 million of the deal is incentive based... Don't know what is ltbe and what isn't
That doesn’t mean it’s only 75mill though. It depends on how attainable the incentives are. Given the numbers and the qb market I doubt they are difficult to attain. There is $30M in incentives. i look at the extra 30 million as the "respect" part of the contract, and highly doubt he will achieve all of the incentives, whatever they are...A lot also depends on what those incentives are and how attainable.
Ltbe or nltbe is only for accounting purpose on the cap. Ultimately and to the player all that matters is achieved or not.
You can doubt if you wish. I depend on guarantees. It could be a 1 year $40M, or 2 year $50M contract. The agent released a news story about a contract at its maximum value. That doesn’t mean it’s only 75mill though. It depends on how attainable the incentives are. That is true... I am hopeful for Ramsey but my hopes are fading.. I don't want to see Marcus Jones on the outside at corner.. I get ellis Hobbs flash backs.. either slot CB/WR is what I'd like..I
