Thanks, shmessey. I'm actually still on a small dose, but I've been slowly tapering for fear of dependence. Hoping to finish up by the end of the year. On top of that, it never really helped that much to begin with.

Discussing football provides a great distraction and also helps to pass the time a bit.
This method won't reduce the pain one iota, but it makes living with it much easier. There are some who claim it doesn't work, but the failure is due to lack of effort, discipline and/or focus, not the method itself. The effects it's had on my pain management are quite dramatic.

I've had some nasty nagging health issues this year, which have left me in pain. It seems to be worse at night for whatever reason--but yeah, I'm up like 20 hours a day anymore.

It's either finding comfort in discussing football or eating handfuls of pain pills, so I'm choosing the lesser of the two evils

We're some dedicated MF's around here when it comes to our football.
Get better, supafly!

Wonder if the Kraft's washed their faces after they gave Rogah a hug?? God forbid they pass that taint to the Patriots.....

Ouch. I'm in the same boat. The doctor diagnosed it as 3 month old baby syndrome.

Kidding aside. Hope you get better.

The 2 words my wife is throwing at me these days: Manuka honey. Sore throat? Manuka honey. Feeling depress? Manuka honey. Maybe try Manuka honey.

Like you, I was tired of hearing how the NYG had his number too, but they won 3 in a row heading into this game, and it would've been 4 had they not blown a late game double digit lead to end the '07 regular season.

In fairness to the Giants and the mediots, they kind of did have his number, especially when he dominates the rest of the league like it's nothing at all.

This is the one thing I don't get about this narrative. In the first Super Bowl, they did have his number. But Brady broke records with consecutive completions in the second Super Bowl. He was on fire. They absolutely did not have his number. It wasn't only a drop by Welker that broke Brady's streak but also some boneheaded calls by Bill O'Brien, like the damn jumbo package when the Patriots had just passed 10 times in a row and wore out the Giants.

That crazy safety in the first Super Bowl effectively wiped out the 1st qtr for Brady and spotted the Giants 9 points, yet the Patriots took the lead into halftime, and then extended it.

Not for nothing, but as far as breaking it down, Bruschi was 10X better than Slater. Slater sounds like a cross between Carlton Banks and Steve Urkel....

Is it as good as Windex?

Yeah, I agree. A much better narrative would have been "the Giants always seem to play the Patriots tough," and hopefully we see that now after the win on Sunday.

All of those 5 game were within four points, so as up/down as the NYG are, the "mummy from the Meadowlands" (Coughlin) seems to get his team up for our matchups. Just retire, already--geez

I'd actually be ok with a hug or handshake, but only if Kraft immediately took out a hand sanitizer, in front of Roger, and slathered it all over his hands.
