Just go back to the 2010 Patriots/Packers game at Gillette when career backup Matt Flynn subbed for Rogers and threw for 251 yards, 3 touchdowns, with 100.2 quarterback rating, and had the Pack leading 27-21 in the fourth quarter before Brady staged one of his patented comebacks for a 31-27 win.
DAN CONNOLLY!!!!

Very pleased by the defense but the offense is still troubling. I don't understand how Hogan has gone from hero to zero. I feel Hogan's play is key to how dominant our passing offense is.

Certain calls in our favor really bothered me. Not only did I hate the ejection, I wish there wasn't a flag thrown whatsoever. I also hated the first down on the roughing the kicker penalty. I believe we most likely win without them and I didn't want us receiving assistance on such a prime time game.

Great win against a formidable opponent. Green Bay's may not have a great record but they are still Aaron's team...
The Packers tied the Vikings and lost in a close game to the Rams. They also beat a Chicago team that is proving to be formidable. A few minor shifts (though can't we say that about most teams) and they are 5-3 with the loss to the Patriots.

The embarrassments for them were losses against the Redskins and Lions in addition to a close win versus a weak 49ers club.

The Packers win was one of the key games heading into the season. I'd say it is still an impressive win for a team that has now won six in a row.

The one thing about the game tonight is that the refs were evenly bad..

- I watched the Packers LT, Bahktiri, move several times before the snap taking full steps.
- I watched the Pats LDE on one play get taken down like I was watching Steer Wrestling and not a football game.
- Both teams O-lines got away with illegal hands to the face on several occasions.
- The ejection on Whitehead was a gross over-reaction by the ref unless I missed him getting another Personal Foul earlier..
- The Roughing the kicker was marginal. I think Allen helped sell it as 85 didn't seem to touch Allen's plant leg or seem to hit Allen egregiously.

He worked, and worked and worked. SB52 was his coming out party , then took a team friendly deal to stay. He’s every bit as good/valuable to this team as Kamar, Hunt et al. He is vastly under appreciated in the NFL world and thata a-ok.

At the risk of overusing him... this makes the Patterson packages that much more valuable.. IMO. I was yelling at the time when White limped off that they had only used Patterson on one carry for 12 yards at that point. ! Boom.! Patterson comes in and the run it straight into the end zone... I think belichick and mcD heard me screaming ...

For god's sake, he tied for team lead with 6 catches for 71 yards!
He was huge last week at Buffalo, too, but I agree with the poster who stated that he’s still working his way back. It looked like he was off on a couple/few of the timing plays where he and Brady are usually on the same page. Luckily for us, an 80% Julian Edelman is still better than many others.

BTW..speaking of Buffalo AND speaking to you guys that bet...I TOLD everyone this week to load up on Chicago BIG...I hope you took my advice or at least acknowledge that I was, INDEED, correct about that game being Buffalo's "super bowl!" and the certain crash and burn that Buffalo would put out this week...and in stark fashion.
Perhaps some of you will begin to understand just how unbelievably hard it's been all these years for every Patriots team to face this constant hysteria from the other teams they play.
