Julian Edelman is the 2nd best QB on the team

For god's sake, he tied for team lead with 6 catches for 71 yards!

He's actually the best QB in Patriots history, as measured by stats, and not even the best WR on the team. Why, oh why, does the coaching staff continue to play him out of position? This, and the inability to draft well in the 2nd round, is what has cost Brady 3 rings.

I wonder if teams will go after McDaniels after the whole Indy deal. I think cleveland is going to get a young offensive mind to give Baker the best shot possible, just not sure it’s josh.
If I'm an owner I wouldn't consider McDaniels because of the Indy business. He really doesn't want to leave, apparently, so look elsewhere. I think he'd be the best person to work with a young QB, but you can't invest on someone willing to leave you at the altar.

Fantastic, entertaining as hell, full of sound nd fury signifying nothing...okay, enough about the Game Day Thread.

Great win by the Pats. D stepped up - Gilmore is a beast. Great effort by Patterson, Gordon is going to get better and better, and the DL was ferocious. No complaints. Really good win with so many key parts late scratches.

If the coverage disguises were (mostly) effective against an uber-savvy vet like Rodgers, just think what they could do to Mariota, Darnold (twice), Osweiler, and whoever the Bills sign off the street for wk-16. Could be a lot of takeaways in the future.

...and the youngster Mahomes.

Although the LA Chargers are starting to deserve some attention.

Im im an owner I make the agreement iron-clad.

I'd agree, but the Browns ownership and FO have not often won awards for their rationality and lack of arrogance.

McDaniels isn't going back to Denver. That ship sailed when they decided to run him out of town. Cleveland and Green Bay I can see, however.

I think that BB will step away if the Pats win the Bowl this year. He will have coached as a DC or HC in 12 Superbowls and took home 8 rings. There is nothing left to accomplish. He is GOAT.

To stay in NE, McD was promised something more than money and how to manage the cap and draft. I believe that BB will promote from within like he has for 18 seasons. Reminiscent of Walsh to Seifert. History repeats itself.

I don't know what it is but whenever we wear these uniforms, the defense play lights out.

Best thing all night - Graham ran an EZ route and Roberts actually covered him - successfully.

I don't care what anyone says. Dislocated fingers are painful.

Josh Gordon made some amazing catches last night even the one BB didn't challenge was dam close a thing of beauty.

Q: Can they wear the color rush uniforms anytime they want?

They might be too stupid to be confused.

Impressive win. No Rob, no Michel.... still won by 14. The defense was tight in the 4th quarter.

And Aaron Rodgers against winning teams he trails in the fourth quarter continues to be Aaron Rodgers against winning teams when he trails in the fourth quarter.
