1-2 and a pathetic offensve.

Lot of good that 23rd pick is doing huh....
I am not gonna disagree with that. But can you admit you may have just been wrong? Or is that beneath you.

Fair enough, but who else runs the ball? White cannot, and Burkhead can’t avoid getting hurt. Hill getting hurt was a big loss.

Hill had been awful for two years with the Bengals. Relying on him was a bigger problem than his injury

Brown and Shelton are the players that disappoint me. I don't recall them getting a good push at all tonight. There play dictated the whole game defensively in my eyes.

Yup. Those are 2 huge weaknesses right now. I couldn’t imagine downgrading for 2017 branch but here we are.

I was wrong about my own personal feeing of the Cooks trade being peanuts? Ahh that’s interesting.

Try harder on putting an examination point on your argument, because that was weak as the rest of your posts.

We literally traded a first round pick for a year of Brandin Cooks and a higher first round pick. You're entitled to have whatever personal feeling you want, but if your personal feeling if also a really stupid take then it's going to be called out as such.

The greatest adjustment team in the NFL should be able to figure this one out without me, but I'll help get the ball rolling from a different perspective. They could start by putting an end to passes to Michel until he learns to run routes and catch footballs the way it needs to be done in New England.

That was a difficult game to watch but so was last week against Jacksonville.

Cooks had a very good game today for the Rams. I say this to point out we gave up too much in the off season and got back nothing.

We need a backup QB. I would have pulled Brady who was terrible today and put in the backup but se can't do that with what we have.

Team needs a spark, they are playing flat. Injuries are not an excuse.

The entire team was awful today. I could have said that last week. Looks like a long season.

On to Miami. They have been playing well and will have an impack on the Pats within the division. I think I also said that last week.

Playing the way they have this season to date a 2-2 record would be OK. At home playing Miami a must win.

Go Pats

It’s probably the worst front 7 in the entire league.

In past years, we went with an oversized front 7, for better and for worse. This year we have an oversized front 7 that somehow can't even do the things it's theoretically supposed to be good at. Every run between the tackles was a free 4 yards tonight before the RB had to even attempt to make a play. It's definitely alarming. It feels wrong to say it's the worst in the league but I can't think of one that's clearly worse right now so maybe it is.

I've pretty much written off the prospect of Brown ever becoming better than serviceable, but I expected more out of Shelton at least. Hopefully this is just September preseason stuff and the team will look totally different in a month, but it's hard to be optimistic right now.

I’m seeing a team that is mentally and emotionally not “there”. I think they have enough talent, not the best in the league, but they’ve done more with less in years past.

The play calling on offense has been off and Brady has made some terrible decisions. I hate when he gets down and just chucks it up there. There were a few plays where receivers were covered but James White was open and he keeps holding the ball. It’s like he’s trying to get 14 points on one play.

In years past they never gave up no matter what. The last two weeks they gave up on both games and just mailed it in for the last 5 minutes. I don’t know WTF that is. It’s never over in this league as long as their is time on the clock but they’re not playing with any urgency.

Something is drastically wrong behind the scenes and has been for months and I think it comes from the top down and it’s poisoning the entire team. I don’t know what the resolution is but this team looks flat, emotionless and disinterested.

Whatever happened in the Super Bowl has not been resolved and it’s still eating away at this team.

Look at every other roster. It is absolutely the worst front 7 in the league.

There's plenty of ammo if you're looking to attack Bill over the off-season, but Cooks for a 1st round pick was peanuts? Really? In what reality is that peanuts?

Considering that BB has been whiffing on his picks and the fact that the guy we drafted in the cooks trade is out for the year, yeah i'd say it's peanuts too.

I'll run with a known commodity like Cooks anyday over a draft pick that is most likely going to turn out as a wasted pick.

The NE offense is predicated on picking up 3rd and 7. Incomplete on first down, 2nd down run for 3 to avoid 3rd and 10 and then 3rd down conversion. They can’t pick up 3rd and 7. Until they can, this offense will not run like usual.

They need to stop trying to go to Sony. He may be great one day but today ain't it. I don't know why they don't throw it up for Gronk once in a while. He has proven that he can go get it.
