Not sure why everyone is so high on the offense. Brady missed several throws, and overall the play-calling seemed lackluster.
I said it last week, I'll say it again: Brady and McDaniels do not show any sense of urgency until they're behind. They're running what they want to be successful, not what is successful. Brady, despite his statistical success, has appeared rushed at times and seems to be trying to throw the ball too hard. He's great, but he can be better.
It's a team game and the offense absolutely left points on the field. The defense is a big problem, but that doesn't mean the offense is perfect.
As far as Gilmore is concerned, I'm not sure I agree that he's the issue. In fact, I think he has been their best cover CB, and outside of the miscommunications and questionable penalties, I don't have much of a gripe with him. I'd like to see him more engaged and active, however. Butler seems to be a major problem, as do the LBs and lack of talent at DL. Chung and McCourty have been underwhelming, too.
