Maybe roger "I bleed green and white and not just because I have the clap" goddell promised him a future exclusive if he could create a controversy so the league could spend $30 million dollars to take another draft pick from us,

Fortunately for us, Pete is not the brightest journalist in the snake pit.

Social media 101: when you're wrong, double down on your provably false ******** and insist that you're right in spite of blatant, objective proof to the contrary.

There may have been a time in history when the more prevalent response was to admit you were wrong and move on. But if that time ever existed, we sure as hell don't live in it anymore.

just tweet that he's a bald headed chicken ****er and tell him to go eff himself. about all the attention he deserves...

Prisco has been a 'hater' going way back. In the early days of Brady/Belichick, he always picked against the Pats in 2001-3 almost reflexively. He felt it was all smoke and mirrors and it would all fall apart....he's still waiting....

Yup....Prisco's system was better than the Pats' system. What an embarrassing, pathetic idiot.

It's actually not tough. Hogan and Edelman didn't engage until the ball was released and engage 1 yard from the LOS. The blue line in the above picture is the LOS. Doesn't matter where Amendola is, it's where the LOS is. For them to be 2 yards down field they would have had to been in the end zone.

I think one of the issues here is that some people assume it's prior to the catch when the rule says prior to a pass being thrown.

The other thing that is not relevant in this situation anyway but what I wonder more generally about is whether it only matters at what spot a player engages into a block or whether where he moves during the block also matters. Lets say Hogan engages exactly at the 1 yard line (legal) and his opponent just takes a step back pulling Hogan a yard with him before the pass is even thrown.. is that still legal or OPI ?

I go with "depends on the ref" Some refs will call it (see: Keshawn Martin vs I think either the Eagles or Titans last year) and some don't.

He picked the Falcons to win. Screw him.
