good point that is often overlooked

I don't know about why anyone else might not be sweating it a s much as his diva ass might warrant but for me it's two fold. Brown really wants to play for Vrabel again and if he starts with the BS here then suddenly the national narrative becomes about Brown being the problem and not Hurts and Brown's fit in Philly's offense. Right now no one outside of Philly is really painting Brown as the bad guy but there's only so many bridges one can burn...

the bad eggs seem to work out for a year or two before they self destruct... inevitably they do self destruct though... if we can get two years out of him, it would be good... im not expecting anything more than that

2 good years would take the Pats off the hook for dead money if they find they need to cut ties thereafter.

IIRC, he started his crap in TENN.
Regardless, you don't scream at your coach and QB on the sidelines during a game.

- If a 1st is part of the deal...then the Eagles don't get a player
- If it's a 2nd....then Douglas or Boutte are included

I prefer a 2027 2nd and Douglas. Add a 5th if that's not good enough.
I think if Philly wants a wr, and I am not sure they do, I think they might want a Mack Hollins reunion. He’s cheap and gives them a look they don’t otherwise have. I can’t see why they would interested in Pop Douglas, given their roster. They just drafted Lemon in the first to run the slot.

Plenty of blame to go 'round in TN with Miss Amy cutting Robinson's legs out from under him. I'm not defending Brown's BS in Philly by any means. It all combines to give him an incentive to be a good citizen at his next stop though which was my (poorly expressed) point

Hell yeah...Mack Hollins works for me as well. I just don't want to lose any of the young guys that could have a future with the Pats.

I really don't know how to feel about Brown at a cost perspective, but I do think he'd be fine under Vrabel. One of the biggest similarities between Vrabel and Bill that I can think of is that they are much better at commanding respect and keeping players focused than others. Truthfully, I feel like a LOT of coaches... Maybe excluding Tomlin.... And Coughlin (when he wouldn't be TOO hard)... Are terrible at managing egos.

I've said this Before, IF HE COMES HERE, I WILL cheer for him, because he is on MY team.
Do I want to pay a bunch to have a distraction coming here?
NO, I do NOT, and he's already done it twice that I'm aware of...and look at that, he's been on 2 teams... must've been a horrible situation, winning the Super Bowl and all
Fk this guy, I don't understand the Boners some guys here have, it's like the hottest biatch in High School...MASSIVE WOOD ...and she's the biggest douchenozzle.
He's NOT Randy Moss, not even close....AND he has a knee issue. Bah

You know we're good, I'm aware who is who here .
We don't have to agree on everything.
If we get him, I hope for the best .

I think it's pretty obvious a deal is in place. Idk what more proof you need besides them coming out and flat out saying it. For how much who knows. I would guess a 2nd and a player.. And maybe one more pick.

tomlin? maybe when he started in pitt, but at the end there don't think he manage egos all that well... the stillers hid all that **** from prying eyes, then kicked em loose... the egos ran wild there., and sometimes it slipped into the media.. antonio brown, leveon bell, george pickens, chase claypool...$10 talent, ¢10 heads ...

coughlin? thats a dude who would chew your ass off for getting a hang nail without permission.

Its a done deal according to my sources. Its for a 2028 1st round pick. That way we can trade down in the 2027 draft and recoup the pick.
Exactly How do you trade down in 2027 1st round with pick 32?
