the bad eggs seem to work out for a year or two before they self destruct... inevitably they do self destruct though... if we can get two years out of him, it would be good... im not expecting anything more than thatI don't know about why anyone else might not be sweating it a s much as his diva ass might warrant but for me it's two fold. Brown really wants to play for Vrabel again and if he starts with the BS here then suddenly the national narrative becomes about Brown being the problem and not Hurts and Brown's fit in Philly's offense. Right now no one outside of Philly is really painting brown as the bad guy but there's only so many bridges one can burn...
2 good years would take the Pats off the hook for dead money if they find they need to cut ties thereafter.the bad eggs seem to work out for a year or two before they self destruct... inevitably they do self destruct though... if we can get two tears out of him, it would be good... im not expecting anything more than that
IIRC, he started his crap in TENN.I don't know about why anyone else might not be sweating it a s much as his diva ass might warrant but for me it's two fold. I think if Philly wants a wr, and I am not sure they do, I think they might want a Mack Hollins reunion. He’s cheap and gives them a look they don’t otherwise have. I can’t see why they would interested in Pop Douglas, given their roster. They just drafted Lemon in the first to run the slot.- If a 1st is part of the deal...then the Eagles don't get a player
- If it's a 2nd....then Douglas or Boutte are included
I prefer a 2027 2nd and Douglas. Add a 5th if that's not good enough.

Hell yeah...Mack Hollins works for me as well. I just don't want to lose any of the young guys that could have a future with the Pats.I think if Philly wants a wr, and I am not sure they do, I think they might want a Mack Hollins reunion. You know we're good, I'm aware who is who here .Plenty of blame to go 'round in TN with Miss Amy cutting Robinson's legs out from under him. I'm not defending Brown's BS in Philly by any means. It all combines to give him an incentive to be a good citizen at his next stop though which was my (poorly expressed) point
tomlin? maybe when he started in pitt, but at the end there don't think he manage egos all that well... the stillers hid all that **** from prying eyes, then kicked em loose... the egos ran wild there., and sometimes it slipped into the media.. antonio brown, leveon bell, george pickens, chase claypool...$10 talent, ¢10 heads ...I really don't know how to feel about Brown at a cost perspective, but I do think he'd be fine under Vrabel. One of the biggest similarities between Vrabel and Bill that I can think of is that they are much better at commanding respect and keeping players focused than others. Truthfully, I feel like a LOT of coaches... Maybe excluding Tomlin.... And Coughlin (when he wouldn't be TOO hard)... Are terrible at managing egos.
Exactly How do you trade down in 2027 1st round with pick 32?Its a done deal according to my sources. Its for a 2028 1st round pick. That way we can trade down in the 2027 draft and recoup the pick.

Is the marshfield fair still awesome? I haven't been in 25 years but it was 1 of my favorite in the countryHope he just doesn't want to miss the Marshfield Fair.
Agreed. Although I'm inclined to believe AJ is a Patriot as of June 1.. I can all but guarantee between Vrabel, Wolf and Howie as well as AJs camp they have a deal in principal already sitting on Goodells desk to be made effective June 1.. both teams are showing us that something is brewing simply by what the eagles did in the draft at WR & by what we didn't do at WR... apart from the UDFA wr we took. Now this could still go another direction as you mentioned other teams as this is the NFL and I look at what just happened with the Crosby trade! The four teams he's said to prefer are the bills, the chiefs, the chargers and the Pats... And I would never discount nick caserio in Houston getting involved... He turns up like a bad penny all too often when it comes to "ptp"
NFL Rumors: A.J. Brown Has Patriots, 3 Other Teams On His 'Wish List' | NESN
A new report indicates that Philadelphia Eagles receiver A.J. Brown hopes to be traded to one of four teams, including the New England Patriots.nesn.com
who knows if those teams are still interested in Brown now... Especially after the draft and free agency... It's not out of the realm of possibility that we reel him in... But I think the eagles will work the phones trying to get the best deal for themselves... Roseman is too good a gm not to...
