Stef's contract is set up so if it all goes bad then the team can easily part ways.

I would not be at the least concerned with stef. He hasn't committed double homicide, and lied to his owner yet.

So, Diggs is old, broken down and on coke, Polk can't catch and is still slow, and Baker can't catch, sounds like a great WR room, tell me again why they didn't draft McConkey.

Personally for me as a fan.. even going back to Brady.. I never payed to much attention to OTA practices. Just show us how much suck has been in Foxborough lately.. big boy camp in July is where it all matters.

I agree that too much shouldn't be made about OTAs but the clip Polk posted a few weeks back of him doing some "speed" work was highly concerning. His athleticism looked equivalent to the second best player in rec league basketball.

That's a good one there. Lol.. Polk has strong legs, wich ideally you'd think would help him in the NFL with route running.

I HAVE ZERO DOUBTS POLK GOT THE YIPS AND HIS COACH'S COMMENTS MADE THINGS WORSE FOR A BESIEGED PLAYER.

The coach's comments didn't make him slow. Last year during OTAs he looked like he was running in concrete shoes. He's just not athletic enough to be in the NFL. He'll be decent in the CFL.

Because he would’ve been redundant to Douglas who looked to have the slot position set. We’ve been complaining about not having an outside WR and it would’ve continued had McConkey been a bust like Polk.

McConkey is a nice player, but he’s not going to be enough for the Chargers. When they match up with a competent defense, the Chargers will fold like a lawn chair until they get more firepower.

Perfectly put. And our defense was anything, but good last season. The chargers game was worse than the actual score. We see them again this season don't we?? If so gonzo will take him out the game and make Herbert check down.

Reminded me of the end of the road veterans (Reggie Wayne, Torry Holt, Eric Decker) that we had come into camp and retire a couple weeks in because they knew they were done.

Chism won’t make it to our practice squad if he’s cut. He will be signed by some other team who likes his risk:reward profile enough to make a place for him on their roster. Remember how competitive his market as UDFA was, so unless he craps the bed in TC he’s a good bet to be on some roster opening day. Question is whether it’s the Patriots or some other team.

32 teams thought that Chism wasn't worth a 7th round pick to be on their 90-man squad competing for roster spots on their 53-man teams.

Gunner Olszewski wasn't signed in the first round of UDFAs but still made the 53.

If the bottom of your roster is bad enough, an UDFA can beat out one of your wide receivers.

BTW, Gunner was our top punt returner and one of the better punt returners in the league.

If Chism can beat out Jones as the #1 PR, then he has a CHANCE to make the 53 as the 6th WR and top PR.

You might consider waiting until the 2nd pre-season game before judging whether Chism will make the 53, moving up from #9 on the depth chart.
