Since Jamie Collins is with the team my list:

1) Brandon Bolden
2) Woodrow Hamilton
3) Shea McClellin
4) Cyrus Jones
5) L. Waddle
6) Justin Coleman
7) Valentine or Anthony Johnson

Foster over one of the CB, Pittsburgh plays 3 WR enough that we don't want to be short on CBs in this game.

A lot depends on Collins. If he plays I doubt there is place for McClellin at the moment. Also Grissom (who played most snaps on ST last week) could be out in that case since Roberts could take more ST snaps.

The other question is who is less banged-up Valentine (back) or Hamilton (shoulder). I guess they might be careful with VV after what happened with Watt.

Like BF suggested they will probably go with 5 CBs so it will be interesting to see if Cyrus is off the hook and calmed down; if Coleman sits out again it's gonna be hard for him to stay on 53 baring CB injury.

The last place could be between Derby and Foster. Both rarely see the field on O and don't have a significant role on STs. Foster's KR option and RB backup are arguably more of use. An outside surprise could've been Richards but with Bolden probably out they might not mess with core ST.

With healthier roster this Inactive List will tell us more how they see the bottom of the roster.

Bolden (I), Valentine (I), McClellin (I), Waddle, Grissom, Coleman, Derby

Would like to see valentine play. Maybe our d line's better when he plays.

Agreed they might need an extra CB this week, but sitting Foster would leave only Blount & White as RBs. I'd guess either Derby or even Malcolm Mitchell could sit.

Look, we already got Squealers inactives!

OUT
T Marcus Gilbert - Ankle
DE Cameron Heyward - Hamstring
QB Ben Roethlisberger - Left Knee
S Shamarko Thomas - Groin
C Cody Wallace - Knee
WR Markus Wheaton - Shoulder
RB DeAngelo Williams - Knee

Collins sure made the trip alright.

Hope this might be a sign that maybe he's good to go?

Lots of Bell.

Not a good situation especially looking at next Sunday as well. Hopefully one can go then.
I really don't like the idea of Brown and Branch taking so many snaps. The good news is that they probably knew that all week and adjusted accordingly. It will be interesting to see how.

Maybe A Johnson will not be the only answer. The problem is that all the Pats DEs have basically the same weight - around 265lb (the same as Hightower). One poster mentioned that problem at the end of preseason already. Only backup OL-men have bigger frame. I remember reports Karras was playing DL at practice when VV went down. I hope Grissom is not the answer because he is painfully slow. Hope High, Ninko and Roberts can do the trick and B&B survive.

Hope TB & co. understand the situation and keep them off the field.

We might be at the point that they need to trade for a DT.

I wrote about this possible turn of irony - trading for position that in TC seemed so deep - after VV went down. But then Hamilton stepped up in almost presidential fashion. Now also the possible Scruggs element is gone. The Q is what is with Valentine's back. One report said he sounded pretty down after one of last weeks practices. But he is practicing. Trading for DT would be pretty disappointing after all and unless Valentine's injury proves long-term I don't think they'll panic.
