I'm not even sure the balls started out at 12.5 . ....But, it's pretty logical to figure that the drop would have been the same pre-game to halftime. As it was from halftime to post-game. More likely than a wider range given by a scientific law giving a possibility of where they will come in at.
No.

Also Exponent did tests to determine the range.
When you have 2 approved gauges that read .4psi off from each other, you have to have a range.

It's not logical because the balls never reached equilibrium when air was put in at half time. If some balls were closer to the field temp then they may not change, others closer to the inside temp may change a lot.

Basically, adding one more unknown variable will not increase the accuracy range.

The league got someone to confirm their science. So, our scientist is better than theirs?? Ok

It violates the NFL bylaws and would likely result in him losing the franchise.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Al Davis sued the league multiple times and won at least once. Didn't lose franchise.
Jerry Jones sued the league (I think he won but I'm not sure). Didn't lose franchise.
You really think 24 owners (assuming it doesn't require even more than that) would actually vote to force Kraft to sell the team? They may hate him. They may think he's a chump. But that's not a precedent they're going to want to set.
