Schedule differences in the division and combined record so far of these opponents:

Bills: Pitt , KC, WFT (combined 6-9)

Dolphins: Ravens, Raiders, Giants (combined 8-7)

Pats: Browns, Chargers, Cowboys (combined 11-4)

Jets: Bengals, Broncos, Eagles (combined 8-7)

"Third place schedule" huh?

Maybe that means we're also better than a third place team.

I don't actually believe that, but it's a nice thought.
We are surely better than Miami and the jets.

Yeah, that's the thing about the NFL, teams can make huge improvements from year to year....our schedule has to the the toughest 3rd place schedule in history...Also it makes a huge difference in what division a team is scheduled to play....we play NFC East which would be great, except that we play the best team in that division...also play the AFC West which might be the toughest division in the NFL...Oh well, we'll have to fight through it.

In our division, yeah, we're better than third place. Thought Miami would be better, and there's still a chance of that, but so far not the case.

The weighted schedule is definitely somewhat overrated on its impact. I think it impacts first place teams a little more, because I feel like there are more top teams that have a stranglehold on their division and so you're generally facing really good teams with that. But below #1, there's so much variance year to year that it's hard to predict the difficulty before the season starts.

That’s not very bold.
Bold would be winning the division.
Sarcasm lol.

pretty obv were between bug/ny.

never was hype about van noy.

tua/Miami appear to have some locker room stuff going on. Somethings gonna come to light this season or next if they don’t compete in the division/he’s consistently unhealthy...

I see an opening for us in the afc with the expanded playoff and solid qb pick.

hoping Miami implodes tbh... and never cared for KC either so I’m chilling

Do you expect the Chiefs to finish with a sub .500 record?

It's just dumb luck. *shrug*

No. Bills are playing 2 average teams and 1 really good team which they blew out anyway,

Seems the Pats are rewarded for 3rd place last year with 3 really good teams and a reasonable shot at 0-3 there. Funny how that works.

To be fair, bills beat some of those teams so far (Washington, Kansas city) but lost to Pitts

its doubtful, but that division is tough right now and is no walkover.... if they keep playing soft as melted butter defense, and kermit keeps effing it up, they might. They dont have the edge anymore...

Actually we play AFCE, AFCS, and NFCS. That's a pretty cake schedule. A lot of bad teams in those 3 divisions.

We got unlucky with the 3rd place finish schedule.

The Bills caught the Chiefs at the perfect spot.
Sometimes it is a matter of when you play a team.

Yes.

Also, the NFCE has been a jumble for years, with a different team winning the division every year of late, so that was just the luck of the draw.

You have to beat the best to be the best.

So far we played the 3 worst teams in NFL..Miami Jets and Houston. So I wouldn’t say it’s been that hard.
