It has gotten out of hand with the stat dorks trying to find a way to say he "wasn't effective" last season. All you need to know are some basic stats you can find on NFL.com/ESPN to conclude his effectiveness.

I really hope they are not looking at us as two wins already in the bag. We know they were a QB away and now they have Rodgers.

I still feel that the Jete could be in implosion mode by the time we meet on the last weekend of the regular season...

As for week 3? Yeah fuhgeddaboutit we're losing that one and Billy's perverse little winning streak against them will come to an abrupt end... Should've ended in 2020 but that's another topic...

Lazard and Wilson on the outside at WR.. breece hall.. at RB.that alone is enough to for DCs to have to game plan for..

Lazard has to be game planned? Because he is tall? Lazard is slow and not twitchy. Mapu, Duggar, and Peppers are all much faster and quicker. Wilson is great but we have Gonzo. Hall is coming off an ACL injury from half way through the 2022 season - he is still on PUP.

Dude - you are seeing ghosts? Lol

What could possibly be "perverse" about a winning streak vs. the Jete? Since you've already given up on that game perhaps you can plan to spend the day apple picking.

I share your optimistic views.. I agree our offense will be much better.. I've said myself we are being judged off last season.. injuries already are starting to happen. Joe burrow carted off possibly an Achilles, Ramsey in Miami.. possible ACL.. if we can stay relatively healthy we'll be in play..

our offense will be better. the real question will be what will happen when we face a team that can score at will against our defense and we need to get in a shootout.

do we have enough weapons to compete? or is the team only built to play one way? which is to run the ball, play solid defense, keep the score down and win 20-18

Don’t you feel like if we would have signed someone like Lazard, some here would’ve been complaining that he’s average at best. But since he signed with the jets, he’s the next coming of Randy Moss.

Since I'm seeing ghost. Tell me who with lazards size DCs have to take away on our offense? Do we have a lazard? Since he's slow? LOL.. I'm Telling you fellow poster.. NYJ is a problem for us.. you can sleep if you want too.. we don't know what mapu will be for us until he shows it in a real game.. and those guys are safeties.. they won't be matched up with lazard.. so yes on lazard mayo will have to account for him.. In case you forgot they did trade for AR..

My guy gonzo I love.. but I know he's a rookie he will take his lumps.

We have enough on offense to move the ball and score.. the question on D this season is can they slow down good QBs and WRs.. ?? that is the only thing for them to prove. If they can do that then our chances are much greater for winning this season. If the offense is just middling at best we will be in much better positions this season than last.

The D is built tough, smart and sound. Adding gonzo was the missing ingredient. On offense I really like gisecki and the elements he brings at TE.. good TE'S usually get a LB or FS on them and that is usually a mismatch.

I do agree that lost in our defensive success the past couple seasons is that we were able to beat up on average-bad QBs but when we faced elite guys they beat us up.

Also elite receivers like Jefferson.

Or (inexplicably) Justin Fields. That one was a head scratcher.
