I am all for riding Brady until he cant play but they better trade JG this off season. Get as much as you can for him.

The exact same things were said by the exact same people in 2014, and their contention then was either that he was already done or that he had two years at best, now two years later they can't claim he's already done and they have simply moved his "cliff" back another two years, and they expect us to believe that is based upon reason and logic when in truth there is absolutely nothing in his game to support their position and they are relying solely upon their opinions to back up their claims.

As events are unfolding, Belichick seems to be closer to my opinions than yours.

Wow, greater than Tom Brady and Dan Marino, and can run like Walter Payton. Jimmy Garrapolo is the most amazing player in NFL history. How was Brady ever able to fend him off?

97.2 career passer rating

208 career wins 61 losses best ever

Best winning% in history

25-9 playoff record best ever

5 Super Bowl wins best ever

4 SB MVP's best ever


But you are right, he didn't break Tony Romo's records, he's no Jimmy Garrapolo

Technically 2009 was Favre's 40 year old season. His 39 year old season with the Jets wasn't so great.

At the very least, that line will give the Browns QB plenty of time before throwing interceptions and incompletions and taking coverage sacks.

Tebow was a very good college QB too. Also the seasoning doesn't matter a whole lot as this team has not had a great track record at developing quarterback talent.

Either way let's hope another team buys into all this hype - and lets us fleece them for a first round pick for JG.

I was thinking that if the Pats talks with the Saints regarding Butler and Cooks, were to expand to include Jimmy, it would include the Saints' pick at #11.

How awesome would it be to have only one of the trio of mediocrity remaining from Trubisky, Watson, and Kizer remaining, and Cleveland was in the position of trading up with the Pats, or let another team jump over them to get the last "QB"?

I agree on Brady.
First of all, spending a third last year on another QB in Brissett more or less spelled out the JG plan.

People say that the Pats TB12 back-ups rot. Well Cassel was a 7th and still in the League and brought a playoff year to K.C. He is still serviceable.
Hoyer was an FA. He had some good games and reasonable seasons with bad Teams. He might be the 49ers 2017 starter.
Mallett was a third and has struggled. BB knew he was a gamble when he Drafted him.Ironically the Bears were interested in signing him prior to Glennon (not much difference)

JG has the most potential but can you ask him to sit two or three more years? Do you take a third Round Comp when he escapes next year? Do you Franchise him for about $15mm next year with the hopes of trading him in what appears to be a good 2018 QB Draft class?

BB always talks about the value of his pick ups and trades the first thing. He wants two #1's and Teams are balking.

No one considered one other Team that might bite for JG and I have authored a three way trade to tick some people off and amuse others.

Alex Smith is 32 and has brought the Chiefs as far as he is capable. It is a good Team with a solid run game and great defense. All the ingredients for a yearly playoff contender. He needs a change of scenery as do the Chiefs. I think that Andy and BB can chat and he will give Reid the real info on Jimmy G.

Now the Skins have to graciously get out of the Cousins dilemma or their fan base will revolt. Is Colt McCoy the answer? Please.

I think the Skins will demand two #1st round picks BUT, they need a QB. Jay Gruden can coach up a QB.

Here is my DW Toys Trade:

K.C. Gets Jimmy G, the Pats third rounder #103 and the Skins second rounder #49. The give up Alex Smith,their first round pick #27 and their second Round pick #59

Pats Get Skins 17th and K.C. #27 in the first Round and Skins 5th #154 for Jimmy G.

Skins Get Alex Smith, the #2 pick in first round from the 49ers and the 49ers first pick in 2018, plus the Chiefs 3rd round pick (was Comp) #104, for Cousins their own first Round pick #17 and second Round pick #49 and a fifth round pick #154.

So the Chefs nor Skins give up two first Rounders. Cousins goes where he wants. The Skins get two firsts form the Niners anyway and a starting QB to replace Cousins to appease Snyder plus a lower CAP at QB. Jimmy G gets a solid from BB with a good playoff caliber Team not named Cleveland and Reid who has been linked to getting a QB in this Year's mediocre Draft class instead gets a younger more moldable new QB with a stamp of approval from buddy BB.
