Good thing Connolly has some extensive playing experience and we have Vollmer playing RT instead of the turnstile Nick Kaczur. It would be a shame if Mathis did to us today what he did last season.

why dont they just put taylor on IR..even if he does come back it will only be for 1 game

Tuesday:Limited in practice
Wednesday:Questionable for thursday
Thursday:Out for game vs detroit, confident he'll play monday vs the jets.

Fragile Fred has really turned into a joke. In the last 22 games he has played 5 times. That means he missed 78 % of the last 22 games. In the 5 games he did play, he averaged a total of 33 yards per game, on 3.8 yards per carry. Really, whats the point ?

With another game in 4 days, better to completely rest Taylor today even if he was ready to go...
