Here is a look at the Patriots and their record after the bye week...

It is Quite impressive..even the horrid first year of the BB era in 2000 at 5-11 included more wins than they had in the early portion of the schedule of that year (3 wins to 2 before the bye).

RECORD AFTER BYE WEEK

2000 - 3-5
2001 - 1-0
2002 - 6-4
2003 - 7-0
2004 - 12-2
2005 - 7-3
2006 - 8-3
2007 - 7-0
2008 - 9-4

= Record of 60 wins -21 losses after the bye week
Averaging that out to be 7 wins and 2 losses overall

Ironically that 7-2 average could very well work to the end of this season since 9 games are left to play and if that is the case then we should have a team with a regular season record of 12-4

We are riding a 6-0 record the game after the bye week from 2003-2008 and the margin of victory when averaged out is a win by an 18 point gap

Beating Miami by 18 would be nice if these stats from the BB era holds up..right? :singing:
