This is what you DO in TC. It's like spring training when a pitcher gets bombed because he's working on a new pitch. It seemed like the purpose of THAT part of practice was to work on GL fades. (and you KNOW that the defense ros going to realize this pretty quickly, too). To a coach you are looking at MORE than just the results of a play

People have GOT to realize that when you prepare for a practice in the preseason, you have to make a decision on what part of the game you want to develop. You have a VERY limited amount of time and you can't work on everything.

Its **** around and find out season. It shouldn’t be gimme gimme season, right? You get it. Why don’t some others?

Onwenu is one of the top Guards in the league by most metrics. They may let him walk, but I think that they may be more likely to an extension with what happened with Thuney.

You'll forgive me if I don't put anything on what you THINK. Not every player is motivated by money.

My feeling is that the Pats look at the top 5 RGs and make an offer in the 15-17M/AAV range with 45M guaranteed on a 4 year deal. They could even give him some extra money this year if they wanted..

Could be. We will see. The Pats are good at drafting IOL. I love Onwenu, but BB was clear that they see him as a guard, not a tackle. I am not sure why that is and from that comment and the last draft (drafting guards and not tackles) I think maybe they want to save the money. I do not think Onwenu is equivalent to Thuney. Thuney blocked Donald 1-on-1 in the Super Bowl - that is a lot of trust.
