It's easy, and only takes a few moments. After the first couple days of OTA’s he was wildly productive and fans were fitting him for his HOF jacket.I hear rumblings that T Thornton is more than a one trick pony maybe that's a rumor.
Groh is the guy.. he was talking cap, players, contracts. He's been with the organization for a while.. I'd like to think it's going to be Groh down the line.Eliot.
Winston.
Wolf.
He made some plays in the EZ in some tights sets.Thornton is 6'2, the red zone is exactly where he should be used. It's still early though. Hard to take anything away from TC at this point
Yes I agree but IMO their are better options in the redzone…Henry, Gesicki, JuJu, Parker, Stevenson, Ty.Thornton is 6'2, the red zone is exactly where he should be used. It's still early though. Hard to take anything away from TC at this point
This is my prediction for AFCE draft orderLet’s talk about starting jobs after the first 2 preseason games.
It’s a process.
That being said I’m sticking with my prediction of finishing last in the AFC East.
Hard to blame anyone but the front office for not landing top tier offensive talent the last few years.
My new predictions
Jets
Dolphins
Bills
Pats
In that order.
I don't think we know if the D is elite yet.We have to also keep in mind.. our defense is dam good.. elite I'd say even.. even though was a bad throw by Mac he isn't going up against a weak defense.
We are really depending on him making the Second year jump if he doesn't it going to be very disappointing: when you think of who we could have had instead. Yeah I know its still very early hope springs eternal. After the first couple days of OTA’s he was wildly productive and fans were fitting him for his HOF jacket.
Then he supposedly had a pulled hammy and it was doom & gloom.
Now two days into camp with no pads and exclusively working in the red zone he is a deal man walking again.
How about we stop making knee jerk prognostications and watch to see if he develops?
I’m equally HIGH on the Wolfe but my only point was he is more forthright in discussing the innards of personnel workings then BB.Eliot.
Winston.
Wolf.
I get what your saying.. But they've shown they were elite last season.. they were put in terrible situations all last season by the inept offense, and held teams to FGs.. they led the league in pick 6s returned for TDs.. only elite teams do those types of things. So it's no suprise our D is making it tough for Mac.I don't think we know if the D is elite yet.
Basically the same height as Juju but far lighter. Not much reason to put him in over Juju IMO in that situation. They paid Juju because of his ability to get open in short yardage and he's also a decently sized dude.Thornton is 6'2, the red zone is exactly where he should be used. It's still early though. Hard to take anything away from TC at this point
Yep we'll know very early in the season.I don't think we know if the D is elite yet.
And Thornton’s game is speed…not short yardage redzone.Basically the same height as Juju but far lighter. Not much reason to put him in over Juju IMO in that situation. They paid Juju because of his ability to get open in short yardage and he's also a decently sized dude.
Going to have to play 6,7 DBs against eagles..Yep we'll know very early in the season.
It’s been exclusively red zone work, and he doesn’t possess a lot of short area quickness. We are really depending on him making the Second year jump if he doesn't it going to be very disappointing: when you think of who we could have had instead. Yeah I know its still very early hope springs eternal.
We'll see how that helps when the pads come on.. and Peppers hits him coming across the middle..Where's Barth getting that 170 from? PFF reported his Shrine weight at 175; and Draftscout.com shows a Combine & pro day weight of 179:

Much less drastic than it first appears to be.
